One for jake here, TOTEX; of a contract a % is Totex with the rest on delivery I believe.

My reasoning from afar is we could have, quite possibly, the whole 6.7m but as opposed to volume orders these orders may come 1m lots. Again my reasoning, if say we received the whole order then Totex (devided by 27) would kick in. Now if there are no benchmarks we could get payments well in advance of delivery. This could be costly to the lenders.

So it could be that total 250m are in 1m packages, a bit more paperwork.

Colour will probably say this does not make sense, may be it doesn't.

Yes good report Vas. As the 6.7m is being financed under TOTEX ,I believe, there should not be any financing problems. It will be nice to see CC get regular incomes that can be calculated as opposed to only knowing monthly costs. This should create a lot of security amongst shareholders.

Colour, as has been said hiring in India whilst rising is lower than UK.

With this new TOTEX a good proportion of finance comes from the monthly payments, in this case divided by 27 of contract. So these outlays which you talk about do not seem to be needed. The key thing is set monthly income not debtors.

You may know better on this.

Reading the RNS, I noted JC referred to 'Important project'. Whilst I know he has been enthusiastic on previous RNS's I think he may know a lot on this occasion.

With Assam we had a small proportion of order initially, this was quickly increased and would appear to have been successful. The 600k order could quickly be built out.

On Smart-Energy below I am surprised there was no mention of Bihar.

Morning all, order was smaller than expected but we do not know how this Framework of orders is constituted. It could be small to satisfy GoI and then be rapidly expanded.

An order is an order, increases CC to 4.2m, and knowing there are more tenders out there says to me this just the beginning.

Even this size should put SP well over 20p.

ITT, reading other BB you should not quibble about 2m in your possession knowing that you have well over 1m, your statement. Also I think the other BB is getting wise to you, trying to hold SP down while loading up your ISA and SIP, lock and load may be but not knock and load, LOL. I think you are doing a Colour on other BB, who would think innocent you would make enemies.

To me there is a lot more to come from this 600k, the fact is CC has the HES system. Whilst it can handle any platform I would have thought its best performance would be with CC Omni.

Afternoon LTI, nothing dramatic, when I queried recently about C C not going for all Smart Connections as they now had secure Cellular I think you said CC only went for RF contracts. The main mobile companies did the rest.

If CC can do all platforms then they only need one software format which can be switched off and on to suit occasion. I will check Posts.

I think there has been so much going on that nobody knows current situation.

If Genus were to set aside work space for CC integration could it mean that all of their Smart Meters will use CC, even those for Cellular connections.

LTI said that there may be other influences afoot for traditional Cellular companies to be used but I feel that if CC appears capable in every respect then old associations could be dropped and Omni/FG25 used everywhere. Time is now of the essence.

Hello sandgrounded, I think the intention was for Genus to be self-sufficient with raw materials so that would be over and above what CC is doing with others.

Sounds like a software licence. Could be wrong.

Hi ITT, now be honest I do not think you will, you were waiting for a buy out at 7p and a lot has happened to get us to this point. With much more about to come (subject to India paperwork) I would expect to see you complaining here in 12 months time, even if we reach 100p by that time.

ITT, I thought you were a long term investor with your 1,000,000+ shares. If your so worried why don't you, politely, buzz off. You cannot put all that money into an ISA and pension and expect one particular year to make a gain. Its not you trying to depress SP again to load up surely.

I am sure it will rise again shortly and you'd have wished you had put another £100k in.

Gizmo, that's a good one. at that time Cyan was not involved in UK, India was just starting to wake up. I had read a bit about Smart and outages etc, probably UK was a waste of effort with only the odd meter fiddler. Did not know at the time how disorientated India was politically, the early Cyan worked but tenders were halting,Utilities were paupers and money was not coming up front. Looks like Totex sorted that out, so now we wait.

Morning Colour, logically with 3.6m units as opposed to previous 0.8m book we should be well above 30p and possibly above 40p. However we have those elusive MM's, I don't know if they have regulation rules on pricing, probably not as they seldom match what is going on.

I think what puts investors off is the time line, I feel we are coming to the end of a long wait.

If I had known I would be sitting on a 10 year share I would not have bothered at my age.

Newbies could be about to make a pile in a very short period.
