Yes Vas, looks a bit fanciful at present but I can see the progressive States will want Smart up and running to compete with others. Hopefully JC will give a report on Indore and Mysore, both very successful. I would like to know if we made further inroads in Bihar. With India always dragging it out I see this year and further two years as possibly the peak of CC's SP and maybe a takeout at that point by a consortium of India meter manufacturers. DYOR
Hi Vas, now those numbers would be interesting, you are not trying to outgun me are you, what do you think Colour. So 100,000 X 20 = 2,000,000 X £12m per million revenue = £24m per month and £288 per year. SP would hit the roof. Trouble there is that is logical and will probably go that way with SP £3+. Whether we still have the company is a question mark, hope so. DYOR
Hello Vas, yes I agree, all subs are at a critical stage in the India Rollout. Once the massive ship has been launched, the fitting out starts with all hands on deck. If they are going to start all over India nearly simultaneously a massive number of orders will have to be issued even if only in 0.5m - 1.0m sizes, most Utilities will want their Province started first, if only to get any grants on offer. A little more holding of breath is required up to their elections. JC gave an enthusiastic update and said Q&A video to follow shortly, that should be about now and will provide the bridge between now and the start of June. DYOR. In the circumstances I do not think things could get much better in anticipation (sentiment) than this.
Hello Vas, thanks for that. I definitely think it was a good idea of JC to join up with Genus and Intellismart but it is frustrating that we do not get more detailed updates. As we now can do all connections I surmise that Genus are only using CC for it's Smart Comms as directly Inhouse. Having said that Genus may not be able to disclose until all the real Subs are notified. It is really a matter of does all Genus Smart Meters contain CC, is so it would be nice for JC to say so and orders that Genus win we win. Does that make sense. DYOR
Hello LTI, Vas, Gizmo. Thanks for inputs. On the meter top left I saw a transmitter sign but that could be anything. I go on a bit about Genus and Intellismart but that was what these signings were about. Intellismart to use CC meters as they saw fit and Genus to make them on their benches (like a licence), at their cost so no supplying materials from us, just paying a fee on production. I believe Genus had to re-engineer production so not going to without committment. These two have had massive 1st assignments so likewise to me so should CC and again likewise should have had a massive rise in SP like Genus. Somebody is going to put me right to this. DYOR
Interesting Vas. Hopefully JC will cover Genus on his next video in detail. I have said before if we are part of Genus inhouse assembly then we will not be waiting for a contract but be part of their meter numbers. So what they get we get. Does that sound right to you. DYOR
LTI, just read your Intellismart. Was the meter displayed Cellular or RF. I was interested in the opening page regarding security and trustworthy suppliers. CC has been approved by GCHQ and I should imagine is up to date with all Cyber problems. From this particular aspect it could be CC is the most reliable and proven of all competitors.
Unless individual contracts for CC are mentioned by Intellismart could it be with all the wins that are taking place that CC has its Framework extended to say 20m units. DYOR
If there was an IPO for India who do you think would take the lead of a consortium. I recon Genus, Intellismart and a few other larger manufacturers to protect their interest. Also would they be happy with minority stake. Obs.
Morning, with Genus not costing CC anything in production if the agreement still exists and if sentiment is there for getting large Indian orders then may be the new broker is not for placing but a rerate. If so, without backup knowledge I would be inclined to look at 30>40>50p in early stages an orders develope. DYOR
ITT, its a funny situation, I have said before I wonder if an Indian industry consortium would wade in, that would guarantee them supply and maintenance for next 10 years or an ROW company who would go for expansion. Or may be the be would have eyes on doing both. I do not think with longterm Funds and PI's there would be interest below 100p and probably much higher than that. Don't forget opportunity capital has been sunk in here for a long time.
Well jake, we all know AIM is a risk, what we do not need is somebody making it obvious. CC makes a surprisingly bold update after all the knocking from the anti's of last weeks. Yet still you will not ride with it and start again with all the doubts. We will shortly know our fate so be cheerful. Changing to such a lead broker says to me that there is something big afoot. Otherwise why do it. DYOR
Morning jake, we all know what AIM is about, you are stating the obvious, I wonder why.
LTI, I agree when expanding you need investment, but, a big but, why always go back to the chosen few, offer it out and let them sell off any unwanted. Better still do normal practice and take a loan, I am sure the likes of Genus would give a loan to keep their continuity fluid. Many of us have have averaged but what about those who have not. Theirs was an honest investment, including Funds why should their shares be made worthless whilst the BOD & co gain. I go along with most that JC says but not on finance, when we came down to 150m shares we were making a loss, now 300m we have doubled that. However some amongst us have gained dramatically and will continue to do so as we burst into the big time. DYOR
Interesting observations, my take is that we have had these ups and downs so many times in the past that it will take some budging to get SP moving. JC is showing a lot of confidence and bearing in mind his responsibilities as CEO I feel there is good news to follow shortly. Money comes into everything but I think CC has proved itself regarding quality, installation and SLA. I would like an update on MYSORE (yes Colour); their Utility CFO was very supportive in his praises, I don't know if LTI could possibly rake that out, they were making money from the word go. I would be good if JC could make an whole documentary on how the installation has fared, how Feeders have dealt with the new setup, how expansion has progressed, reliability, Utilities profts and what Utility thinks of show so far. That could go a long way to convincing stragglers of CC benefits. DYOR
