Well LTI, if I was PM Modi and had all this riding on Smart Energy I think I would take over Intellismart and Cyanconnode. Meter manufacturers are all around and can provide electronic meters whilst Intellismart/Cyanconnode are the implementers, the control aspect. Everything else they can pickup and drop as they need. Well Bobjim, it is hard to accept your conclusions, as you are a newcomer to this BB, and you are favouring JC in most instances. I fall off the perch from time to time but try to stay neutral regarding JC. I have had some good one to one conversations and text with him, I have always considered he sells the company's prospects to excess and tries to broaden his horizons too far, is he will know, but that was him and we were getting nearer to India achievement, which is what we were all really looking at. He has a head on his shoulders but tries too hard to get in with the big boys, hence photo outside No.10. and sitting at a dining table with Intellismart. The thing is JC cannot tell us how rosy the near future is for us and then say, oh no not you lot. If true this will not be forgotten.

Well Bobjim, Cyan transferred into Smart, a niche market, its previous market area is now doing ok but was not at the time, so we have all known its success would be if that market took off. Until recently ( one year ago) things were at last on the up, then Esyasoft who CCI had been working with started dishing out the generous loans, not done lightly but well engineered, why didn't JC of Harvard spot this or may be he did. Although we are in a sticky (heard that word so many times in past) position until we know more, I feel this company has a lot going for it and I do not accept your conslusions.

Thanks Bobjim, as you say we can only deal with what is out there. Take GOA a good proportion of contract was for mainenance section. In overall terms a £70m contract for 750k of units is a small contract. JC is bidding for 10m AMISP units and possibly more. These would be completed in 2 and a bit years. From that point on only outlay would be possible repairs but good mark up on original contract. These AMISP via SPV's I believe are self financing with GOI making a contribution. CC has these generous low interest loans so is not short of cash. Esyasoft would have done all their DD when making making the loans to keep their parent company happy, so they knew exactly what they were doing but did JC. CC Group is a goldmine as long as roof holds up.

Bobjim, reading your 10:25 1 Jun, you say the maintenance period of contracts attracts less income. We are given the reverse impression, its at the end of installation but JC says mark ups is much higher. So very little outlay if CC Smart Platform performs well. Do you know more.

The ironic thing this is a very good product, been accommodated by GOI, could probably produce a billion in profit (Esyasoft knows) down the line. As I see it, every time JC makes what he thinks is a good linkup it goes pearshaped. Its time for a conglomerate of Indian companies, with Smart connections, to bid before a middle east company steps in and runs their Energy Policy.
