Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
Jake, first of all I do not know much about AIM rules, only what I have read from time to time on here. As I understand the company has to disclose any substantial differences to finances, like contracts won or lost. I consider the Genus/Intellismart contracts/agreements as apart from Sub Contracts, in that financial figures for these happenings must have been already reached, otherwise no point in them. So Genus is making CC hardware onboard, expensive unless the production line they have set up is only producing Genus/CC meters. Intellismart have the Frameswork Agreement, using CC in a scatter gun distribution to its various projects. To me these two agreements are prearranged and not subject to pricing but part of the final value/cost of the meter, otherwise no point in having them.
I will agree on BI, Cov interupted but logically if BI were interested they would have extended the contracted, considering at the time they were rebuilding their factory to accommodate CC Comms, our protection being our Software had a built in Turnkey. It would be nice to have an update.
Well I think you are wrong ITT. Absence of information does not mean nothing is happening. You are alwys spouting rules, well one is to inform shareholders of changes to financial circumstances. So we were informed of going 'inhouse' and the savings to be made, so if we have not gone 'inhouse' and especially not got modules orders then we have to be informed. These are changes to financial circumstances, so until we have it confirmed we are still 'inhouse' with Genus, they may have required to treat us as 'white label' that would have been a bad move by CC. Wait and see or just sell your vast holding. DYOR
Thanks for that Vas. I think JC will now want to make a statement relating to CC's position regarding 'Inhouse' position with Genus. It could be that CC has got the lot, being able to undertake Cellular and RF. if we have not gained an advantage by being 'Inhouse' with Genus then I think JC will probably disclose position, having told us of the advantages of having our hardware being built alongside the Genus meter construction, i.e. no material outlay, more or less just licensing type arrangement. As I have said many times, if we are part of Genus then what they sell we sell. CC did not openly disclose when we had other things put inside our Comms 'FG' until mentioned. I would have thought Genus wanted to highlight CC now that it has proved itself. We will see. If these happenings were on the books was it kept quiet to depress our SP, to go from 17p to 7p with our order book not logical. Were the Funds a distraction from the BOD gaining more freebies, if so should see a good rise. DYOR
Hello mcgoof, everything takes a long time, keep an open mind. ITT mentions Trilliant doing HES for Intellismart, they were already doing this before CC came onboard to sort a problem. Are they only doing Cellular HES, will CC do RF if needed. I dont think Trilliant do meters so will CC be doing Meters (Framework). There are lots of unknowns so are ITT and co looking for what may never happen. CC would not have got a Framework from for 5m units if they were not intending to fully use them. Nobody can predict the next few months and CC would have told us if there were any financial worries with Genus/Intellismart so just wait it out. DYOR
Yes LTI, I had notfication earlier and wondered, I feel logic is they are getting much more than anticipated in orders, they were not going to take on more loans than they could handle and are probably now more certain of contracts. They are paying Genus regulary so are probably planning massive expansion not wanting to turn any down. CC being at both ends of the Genus/Intellismart throughput must surely be in for some gigantic total orders, Intellismart having the 5m CC Framework, which could easily jump to 20m as orders become solid.
Only my opinion, however CC could at last be an AIM winner. DYOR
Well Colour, a couple of ifs, had we taken over maintenance, if so was it just a matter of standing some holes up, CC boxes are fairly tough I understand so may be not a great cost, Utility may have stumped up.
I will always agree that we need more positive press about new contracts and how fast we are building out contracts. Having said that there is nothing better than showing you are part of the community and to restore that much in 48 hours is impressive. Local teams need praising especially with this new system.
That's interesting Vas, with those requirements he/she should be earning more than the CEO's. Looks like they will have to manage everything and all sites. We know that meters will come from several suppliers and that CC have a Framework with Intellismart to supply various sites so, as I have said before, may be we will not feature as Subs but just have our Framework upped, say to 10m>15m etc but that is all we need to know.
ITT, after all this time, years, and bedding in to lead companies I think there will be some very big orders because the system has been set in motion for volume. Those warrants I am sure will get taken up at say 30p within the 18months. Where I feel let down is the floats, so many,so often, after JC's none needed, with the odd exception, now we 150m>180m.225m>275m>325m with no offers to PI's that may take looking at. He is confident these shares will rise rapidly and always buys in, don't blame others he is doing well out of it, as the CFO I am not leaving Heather out of this. I am assuming the books are beyond reproach but there is a repetative float purchase going on which could be suspect, to the detriment of PI's. I dont often run with these opinons but we are all in it for the money not just the few.
Well ITT from 7p onwards a few years back I am convinced in your little way you have tried to influence SP for your monthly SIPP. So no more just yet but I presume you are not taking your million plus out, that says it all to me. You should have been a Fund manager. DYOR
I think that is the bottom line Roddy until we hear further on contracts. I do not think we needed this extra, massive, floatation at such a low price. At this point in time we are not sure whether it was led by JC or Williams. That said the fund is still heavily into CC. If things were changing for the worse I do not think Williams would have made any comment, good or bad. I suspect ITT spare cash is making its way to CC before it takes off again.
Only my thoughts, LOL. DYOR
Roddy, although I do not know much about Funds I seem to remember they kept a balanced book for their members and unless a crisis occurred market wise when a member reduced the sell off was made on a percentage of all stock.
Well ITT, JC is the CEO, he issued the new shares, some to himself, so it could be his last loyaty goodwill gift, apart from increasing bank balance. For someone who has tons and tons, sorry a million plus CC shares you certainly have a way of keeping SP down, not SIPP time again surely. DYOR
