Hello LTI, sorry to mislead, no that was the figure already mentioned on BB I presume from earliest approvals about to come to fruition. I would be hoping for up to 75% of applications as no doubt CC have gone for those it expects to make a good showing in.
I think 2024 is where it is seen to be happening and if majority of earnings falls in these 27 month contract times then 2024/5 should see good cash flow and may be SP exceeding 100p in very near future. DYOR
Just been reading Multi on other BB. Do I understand we are bidding for 178m units, if so very impressed, must have a lot of confidence. 60m envisaged was a lot. Some time back JC equated 1m units to £20m revenue, probably less now. 60m units would have achieved a revenue of £1.2bn, imagine 120m units. Dreaming, may be not, if it is what they want and a well proved system. RF worldwide must be the future for all Comms.
If we succeed in getting the 60m, with only maintenance period spread over 10years the majority over just 27monthsfor then there will be massive earnings over these next 2 years, being paid monthly (1/27th). Have I got this wrong, observations please. DYOR
Trouble is trader, I am one on the otherside, talking CC up, occasionally loose faith but see the need for energy control. As an amature I have traded since the 80's but CC caught my eye, it has ups and downs but RF will probably be used for all communications in the future.
Colour you cannot have it both ways, does this BB have influence or not.
I surely things are being lined up for massive contracts, too many appointments on a whim, even just to do favours. Now that we can handle Cellular at household level there may only be one requirement in meters for Smart Comms that being CC. Makes sense for all meter makers to have one production line churning out Smart Meters to meet all circumstances.
DYOR
Thanks for update LTI. With those numbers in the wind the next couple of months should see good completions. Genus and Intellismart should get a fair proportion of bids just by being who they are. Intellismart have said via their Pipeline with us that they are putting out meters as they see fit to various projects, many of which I presume they are getting from Genus, so logic says to me that Genus are still Inhousing us. Hope to hear from JC on this as it is a fair amount of our trade. I feel we will get some news imminently. DYOR
Multi on the other board is a wise man and +lti + Vas, we have a good combination.
Putting all these opinions together and reading up a bit on Esyasoft I feel that if CC has got all of its pegs in the right holes then we are about to breakout. Too much maneuvering for a small outcome. DYOR
Hello ITT/LTI, a bit of buy/sell today, the thing is who is buying, bigboys or PI's, possibly a bit of each. Only just logged on, were we going to get a speech from CC India today, did someone mention 20 Dec.
ITT, as CC has struggled financially over the years due to starting small and having large R&D outlay now is the time for it to breakout providing JC does the right thing and stops handing out shares especially after saying they were not needed. Forecasts from any source were always going to be conservative, JC said the possible big stuff was not accounted for until it happens.
LTI, we have been over partnerships and hopefully we may also pick up Adani. However the big but, which you also avoid is that the partnerships with Genus and Intellismart are contractual and they are probablly the biggest suppliers in India today. So far we have a reasonable eye on Intellismart and the Framework but nothing on Genus updates. It is not unreasonable to enquire what is the current position as we were told we were going Inhouse with Genus, I take it you have no idea either on situation. Even you have to note that Genus is possibly the biggest meter manufacturer in India. To me all the others you listed are either to be contracts or small developing contracts. So I would like to nkow the Genus situation, they may have gone into a formal license with CC but as the account is substantial we should know. DYOR but as a layman I feel this is about to take off.
Hi jake. apart from rattling the cage and it being Christmas expenses time, I cannot see any change in situation other than not too informative update. do not see SP sitting at this level for long and some making a few bob. DYOR
Well Colour I still have confidence in CC. Wasn't India supposed to be saying something today. Whether this is the BOD trying to shake the tree I am not certain. Anyway as last time I could not waste another buy time although it does not improve my average. Product is good, margins may have slipped a little. I feel sure we are going to get a fair chunk of the new orders. Just hope CC India does not go for a buyout as a seperate company, completely set up self-sufficient, they would not need ROW with their order book.
Dont get carried away again ITT. Dumping, emotive, Funds have different reasons for balancing the books. He said in interview he supported CC, he is talking to his own investors as well, not just conning us.
Again, LTI, what do we know of Genus, any thoughts. To me Genus/Intellismart are going to be our main supply routes, JC said Genus was taking CC Inhouse, like licensing, he previously gave us a graph of modes to Genus, said we had a credit guarantee, all serious stuff. Then when we went Inhouse had no costs just profit. So now no graph, no comment, what are your thoughts.
These two are going to probably cover 50% of our India work. DYOR
Morning LTI, I must say I did not feel there was much to see in this, almost as if JC reluctantly made a statement. See what tomorrow brings. As we had made this special arrangement with Genus (licence?) I am surprised no comment, good or bad. DYOR
Today whilst little has been printed on BB a lot of thinking has been going on.
Finger when you dropped out I take it you were on a loss, however I think possibly now is the time to step back in. The risk is still there but the product is good. The current financial dealings and aligning is yet to be known but my feeling is it will go in CC's favour. If we are still in the Genus and Intellismart good books we should be set for big profits, they must be a major part CC's India turnover. It would also be intersting to know CC's position regarding UK, with BT and all the others moving to 4G. DYOR, only thoughts.
