Jake, I have read contracts in my job but only as an observer to make we were getting what I wanted. Unless you know the ins and outs of India contracts I suggest we leave it to CC (India) which I suspect JC is doing. It has all happened before, tender times have not been met then all of a sudden Bihar and Assam are announced. The work has been done and it is a matter of sitting on our hands, if it goes as most suspect then SP will take off and those not in the boat will be left way behind. DYOR Only my opinion.

Well jake, to me that is absolute rubbish, the companies that count, the likes of Genus and Intellismart are the ones that present the tenders. Your team would also be looking at past performance such as CC having the highest install/delivery rate (25%+), not defaulted on supply dates, built reserve stocks, sitting on lead tables not just ordinary sub-contractor.

Looking for references I take you back to MYSORE, the glowing comments from the Utility.

Morning ITT. We all know that CC being on AIM is a long in tooth start up company. It does not have millions in the bank otherwise it would be a Schneider.

We will probably find out shortly whether CC is still focused around supply of modules and HES or more deeply involved for Smart City work.

CC started with little money and developed product by share increase, it is now in a good position to meet standards and with the new Totex will get a regular monthly income.

If I was as heavily into CC as you are and had your thoughts I would be back out.

Are you just bemoaning CC to get a few more SIPPS before price rise.

At this time you are not making investor sense, heavily investing yet heavily criticising, ???

ITT, you are using a double negative there. So if you have not got the staff you can't have the tender, but if you got the staff you are a wasteful company if the work is not immediately there, and we know the work takes some time got to be signed off.

I think because India is prime concern for CC JC has made them autonomous, that being the case can UK control their statements. Anil liked making use of media, it is a problem for a small company. In the past no information bought an outcry but information published rapidly got pulled to pieces. Basically with Smart Meters contracts do not come overnight but more a year down the line, that leaves the door open to 'what are you doing, whats going on'. That worries PI's but does not change situation.

To me we are almost there.

Unfortunately Colour, I think that sort of thinking will worry onlooking PI's.

There are many reasons why Paul reduced but without knowing the worst is thought.

Other big holders seem to stay put so I don't think they are a concern.

As we are mainly looking at less than 100k shares trading I feel we are still involving PI's.

These 65+ jobs are via CC(India) so may not be required info in India or UK.

I do agree that statements made by either should be more controlled or better defined.

Whether or not there is share manoeuvring, I think there will be big rises once first tenders or Framework published. Any buyer who sees beyond current impass could do very well especially if re-rate.

Definitely DYOR but hopefully be forward thinking.

as said before onlookers need to see a few tender results, existing PI's have probably got a few bob in the pot already, on such small movement is it the MM's trying to tempt us to top up, all they want is turnround. So panic on the sells and grab a few more on the buys.

A good solid tech firm involved in software can have a massive upside.

I must say you have to be there to appreciate it but it does happen.

LTI, I have asked this before but with CC launching Cellular why are they not competing in that group as it is 75% of contracts.

Hello jake, wasn't Wirepass going to market via Anil's old company, have not heard any mention of them.

I do tend to favour companies but have only lost a couple of times. Probably down to the fact that I filter companies down too far and eject some who then do nicely.

It takes a long time to get accepted into Indian market, perhaps why Silicon was so pleased to partner CC.

As it appears that we are now ready for any major offers it is just a matter of waiting.

Regarding share base I think I am reading it right. Small company where PI's still hold a fair amount. Mostly under 50k share buys. What they think matters.

You don't double your staff and place massive supply orders without having a lot of confidence. Intellismart have got a reliable partner in CC and hopefully the price is right.

If allowed we could get the whole of that last order.

In India money is still important can CC be matched.

Morning Colour, I looked at top jobs on list and software but lower down is out of knowledge.

No matter the outcome to double your staff (at a cost) shows anticipation of a lot of work.

Hopefully Intellismart is our Framework connection as that order book could be limitless. If Intellismart are treating CC as virtually in-house then possibly identical meters can be used from regular suppliers for many tenders. That would simplify matters.

CC has had some good contracts, with repeats, but I feel MYSORE put the icing on the cake with speed, realiability, SLA and early profits. What every Indian utility wants.

Colour I agree with your observation on staff levels. To me CC have either got the works with tenders and going to have to cover so many land areas starting at the same time or they are going into other fields of expertise, such as site management. I think they had a good hand in MYSORE.

With Silicon I dont think costs are going to be that great, looks like Omni is still present so could be that FG25 will only be used for sophisticated IoT locations.

Bihar, if you are referring to 5m that could still be on the cards but for CC Smart.

Don't forget Intellismart seemed to get an hiccup before.

I think that we will get anything that Intellismart can win. I feel that CC went to the rescue when Intellismart had problems with Smart in Bihar, were given Assam and are probably earmarked for anything else.

I think he wanted to come back to CC after talking up his new company but realising they were going nowhere and wanted to come back to CC and a position was created that was not too lowly. I think he appreciated JC assistance so business will probably arise from TM.
I seem to remember at the time Colour said we were facing major competition from this company associating with Wypro but nothing seems to have come from that.

Colour, I think there is a lot going on behind the scenes.
Anil is a valuable asset.
He left CC abruptly the first time round, was lucky to return to CC, he is a sensible person so who knows what value this has to CC.
I think a lot of value.
