Else holding these shares, I still have my holding and glad I didn't panic as they have bounced back very strongly since the May lows. I suppose the question is when to take profits as I am still nervous about a big slide in the FTSE.

we are in, things will settle down i hope. There is so much uncertainty it's hard to know what to do. Things are going to be choppy for a long time like you said look back in a few months. Still Tomorrow it's final dividend pay day for these @ 76.1p per share not bad think of that!.

Never mind mate, it's all a gamble at the end of the day one one knows which way it's going to go! Still these have held up very well on an otherwise terrible day for the markets.

It's dissapointing i know but what rises quickly often drops twice as quick! I think they have just followed the market down and should rise hopefully or if not i will buy some more sub £20

Thanks, I like Tobacco shares because they pay good dividends and are usually fairly safe bets. Lots of people smoking in developing countries to keep the profits up !. Not for the ethically minded investor but i will be topping up my ISA this year with a few more with these record low interest rates cash is a non starter.

This share does not get much chat on here, but as often the case the forgotten gems make the cash! I bought in at 1993 last nov then slumped to 1850 thought about chucking them in but glad i didn't as now up 14% gross :)
