Surely this is way oversold now. I cant stomach taking losses i have now on this. I'll wait for the bottom and average down a bit. Surely the bottom cannot be far away? Anyone have any ideas?

Watching newsnight it looks like Greece is on the verge of going belly up, that should be good for gold! but knowing our luck it will drag this share to 350p.

I don't understand charts so I haven't got a clue what your on about but what will move this north is good news, not much of that surrounding this awful share. I still think 370 is not out of the question on a bad day so be very careful.

How much worse is this going to get? Not a good day all round!

I wouldn't like to say. It seems nothing will move gold shares up these days, even when the price of gold goes up these hardly move, and a slight drop in gold and they plummet it's not fair. All the gold miners are really depressed although it's fair to say this share has had particular issues with three huge drops in recent weeks, ie motor failure at Buzwagi, 7 intruders killed at North Mara and lastly Tanzanian government intervention on mineral taxation - so in all we have had a string of bad news.! I'm certainly hoping for better believe me, I have big losses on this now! Best of luck.

Nice one 900p target. These broker targets are just outright garbage, nonsense, drivel, pie in the sky call it what you want. If you halve most targets you get a closer figure i.e. 450p where we were yesterday. Only 23% down so i've been in tighter spots than this before so mustn't get too wound up about it.

Looks like the market didn't take much notice of the denial of any supertax. Thinking of averaging down but if the market heads south this turd will head south X2

I'm Holding at 531p ! :( Now licking my wounds on Desire Petrol sized losses! Is there any hope for this i'm thinking averaging down but maybe it's just throwing good money after bad? any ideas?

Is incredible. If I had put every penny that i put into every other share i have ever bought in my life and invested instead in BATS I would be rich. I never though a tobacco company would give such price growth.

I'm also into Allied Gold AGLD and nursing even worse losses than on this!. I have hope for that share though shortly they will be joining the FTSE 350 from AIM so maybe some big institutions will buy some of the shares and raise the price, well thats what I'm hoping anyway.

Trouble is this share does what it wants when it wants without warning! First the motor failure at Buzwagi, then another mine raided by armed gangs!. Doesn't inspire a lot of confidence! Sorry if seem down on this share but so far it has not been a wise investment for me and in hindsight I should have stayed away from mining and gold stocks in particular.

Div was paid on the 26th of May. 2.25 pence per share by my calculation. Were all rich I tell you!

Thanks, But Still very very very depressed with this. Piling off the pounds again today with no hope in sight. Maybe time to sell up and take a big hit? Anyone else holding above £5 a share?
