Share price has got well ahead of earnings. Future earnings need to be proven to substantiate such a re-rating, eventhough it is £9 off off its top could easily go sub £30 again.

Director sales have totally killed the momentum here as it can’t hold onto any early gains it seems. Now about £8 off of the recent high point.

The problem is the withholding tax for us plebs, buybacks are more tax efficient in that regard but as you said bought back shares with shareholder profits get redistributed to directors by the million, then they sell and the whole merry go round continues, as it has for years.

We should get paid on the fraction of original Unilever shares we lost. In my case it was 0.77 of a share so multiply by the last price and I should get about £32. I don't know what exact price has been declared for calculating the fractional payment, it maybe out there haven't had time to look.
