2021 revenue run rate £34m

If this is a growth stock, a decline in forecast revenue from circa £50m to £34m at a time when teleconferencing is having a boom is terrible. I can only assume that Microsoft Teams and Zoom have killed this co.

If you have 45 mins watch this video and realise that there should be far bigger fish to fry - I would even ask - are the incumbents in UK fashion in bed with the media? Companies over there are literally pumping cyanide into peoples drinking water - meanwhile in UK, companies not even related to Boohoo may or may not have given staff a fag break and £1 or £2 an hour in wages - sorry but what privileged world are we in here shorts?

I am a Manc, the company was founded in Manc. So no, I don't really feel allegiance to Leicester - all I see if negatives news about it and not one person stand up for Boohoo creating jobs. I say give the shorts and and nay sayers what they want, move production out of the UK then we can get back to fundamentals here and stop this endless chatter from them- it has cost lots of institutional investors and they move the share price! What people do not understand about poverty is earning £3.50 is better than the dole. Yes, these workers should get min wage, but the attitudes in this country are the reason we are vastly uncompetitive internationally and don't manufacture virtually anything here. The whole scandal is revolving around people that don't work for Boohoo - do these people realise what textile co's do to rivers in Indonesia and how much the people get paid? It really annoys me that so many media sources attack a young, entrepreneurial UK company - they should be encouraged and commended - people need to get real and realise your don't cut down startups.

No offence Donacropolis but the people of Leicester are hardly voicing there support for boohoo and we are investors losing money on this. So far there have been zero articles on how boohoo is providing jobs or benefitting the area. I don't feel any loyalty to that area and think we should move out and move on. The government can deal with the unemployment issue.

Often large disparities between UK and US listings, don't read too much into it. Value will out here gents but my advice is not to be too fixated on intraday moves because this will be gamed in the short term to facilitate shorts. In current circumstances the best strategy is buy and hold, if you doubt it just go and check the free cashflow generation and tell yourself to be brave.

There has been very little share price recovery from the initial covid drop back in March at current level, despite evidence that revenues are recovering and vaccine works... so yes, still got legs up until 400p until next news IMO. Good luck all

Espresso, there are many interesting bull cases for this stock, you can take your pick really. My buy signal was reaffirmed when I saw the Fitch update which another user here kindly posted a few days ago :

As an investment thesis , when a stock has severe discount to NAV based on debt concerns the main thing I look at is quality of earnings and free cash - content that Micro has sufficient in both areas. I feel like the games could continue for a while until we see the back of the shorts - but unless they think the company is going under there is no upside for them here now - could be wrong of course, its about weighing up the risk and rewards.

Even in the nadir of recent week at circa 200p I believe this company would come through. The valuation here simply makes no sense given the cashflow unless you think the business model is broken indefinitely - I just don't see that it is. Long term holders have been put through the mangle with this one. I have watched from the sidelines for a while but decided to have the courage of my convictions and buy in.

The key for more material upwards movement is more evidence that the dip in revenues was Covid related rather than long term decline. I am sure it was, as the streams that took a hit were consulting etc, which was not easy to maintain with lockdowns. I expect the market (including deferred project decisions) will spring back in 2021 and this share can bag from here.

I actually think the opportunity price here at current levels still significantly undervalues this, the risk reward vs other beaten down stocks is excellent. The cashflow is strong and debt is reducing.

Long and strong and rewards a plenty IMO.

Let me get this right, you are actually saying rights issue? Are you nuts? They are unlocking a load of capital with the towers float and have an 8% dividend payout, why would they tap investors at a historically low price - totally bonkers idea - this thing is throwing off cash.

Hi. Can any holders here shed any light on why if 90% of revenue in GOG is contracted, the share price tanked with all the other transport companies. I saw they report a loss last financial year on write downs, and German rail, but they are saying that rail will be breakeven for 2021, so surely there is a decent profit to be made... in 2019 EPS was 137p, yet Peel Hunt are saying :

'Broker Peel Hunt forecasts full-year 2021 adjusted pre-tax profits and earnings per share of £33.5m and 37p respectively, rising to £59.8m and 89.6p in 2022.'

So not really sure what is going on here with actual profitability - think this needs more clarity from the board or brokers.

Don't think there is a distressed seller, rather more likely a fund was selling out, but volume was modest so might be wrong. The renewables angle on this is strong IMO.

Looking back at the share price movement the last few weeks it appears like others have said there is a large seller that could have exasperated today's decline, but it has been a serious rerating that caught my attention as overcooked. It hit 808p earlier in the afternoon and bounced hard, then returned..seller may be done so perhaps you were right to hold off on the entry.

I took a position today on the drop...fell further beyond but I will try and hold for a 6-12 month period on hope of some recovery. I read it that the deferral of work in oil and renewables sector due to covid doesn't mean the work won't be forthcoming, its just delayed. The company, on an earnings perspective doesn't seem that cheap but I think the potential in the offshore wind sector is good next year and beyond. Does anyone know the strategy of the company in this sector, is it mentioned much by the board? Also, some of the income seems fairly defensive in nature, so surely there is a bottom for this share beyond which the downside diminishes.
