RE: Ezy analyst predictions30 May 2024 16:32
On another forum yesterday someone mentioned the drop post October update, subsequent fall, stabilisation and then recovery. I’m a novice here (20 months in, hold 2807, average 353) and look at others’ posts, do a bit of research, go a bit by gut feel and learn as I go. I look at some of the TA postings and don’t profess to understand but out of interest have done a simple What-if scenario. The following is not a prediction in any way and is no attempt at ramping; it is purely a What-if so here goes:
What if the recovery from the October fall was exactly mirrored following the fall from 16 May!
Pre fall on 12 October the SP was 437. It then went:
20 October 360 (18% down)
20 November 435
20 December 508
19 January 499
19 February 567
On 15 May it was 529
Based on the same number of days between each date point this would come out as:
23 May 436 (it was actually 457)
23 June 527
23 July 615
22 August 604
22 September 686
As I say, it is a crude What-If and should be taken at face value and no more. But I thought I’d share it.
