You can’t compare pre COVID sp with now as there was a massive rights issue. But I totally agree with your general point, this is a good business. My finger in the air say this should be circa 700 to 750. But market forces (and manipulation?) say otherwise. GLA

I’m definitely holding. If there is any significant drop (below 440) I’ll be adding. No science on my part, no TA, just gut feel looking at the fundamentals and the rather unique holiday business model where, unless I’ve got it wrong, there is limited downside exposure. Filling existing seats at a higher profit per passenger and no material capital exposure seems a perfect strategy. GLA.

It seems there is an article in The Times saying that the holiday business for EZJ is positive. Haven’t read it, behind a paywall.

@Stillie. What I like about Southampton is how civilised it is to use it and the excellent transport links; M27 and M3 plus the fact that the entrance is (apparently) only 99 steps from the railway station. That’s why I think it has so much growth potential. Significant population within 45 - 60 minutes travelling time. I trust EZJ are looking at how apparently well the Glasgow route is doing and are exploring the potential further. I understand it takes time and planning but I would not be surprised to see further expansion there.

I’d be happy with 460/465. Steady progress, nothing dramatic. Fundamentals all good, just need some stability and an outbreak of sanity! But I say that as a medium to long term holder, not a trader. I wouldn’t be surprised however if it’s not above 500 in a week or two. Recovery from October’s fall was a bit more spritely. GLA.

I’m interested in how new regional routes are doing, particularly my local airport, Southampton. I’ve been monitoring prices on the relatively new Glasgow route. There are 25 flights next month and 15 are already over £100 (one day is £222!) and only 5 under £80. Seems that route is doing really well. Not so good on the Belfast route though. I strongly believe that there’s a lot to be had from regional airports.

I am holding and may add if there is a drop to 420 or under. But I am in for the medium (12 to 24 months) term.
