Another RNS re BoA activity.

I’m a relative novice on investing and don’t understand the details. But my gut feel is that there will be a bid for EZJ in 2025. No knowledge, no prediction, just a gut feeling. To me EZJ is a good business, well run, with good fundamentals. I think it is massively undervalued but value is only ever what the market perceives it to be; not necessarily what it is. I’ll stay well and truly in, only a small holder (3000 shares) but I got in on my gut when it went below 300. Current average 357. For LTH my opinion is “the future is bright, the future is Orange”. Now, where have I heard that before?!!!

Funny you mention transatlantic flights. I was thinking the same the other day when I was reading about, and saw, 321s on longer distance/transatlantic routes. I think it would be a distraction at the moment from the core focus but who knows in the future?

More BOA activity just reported. What it means is another matter!

Just got a notification that the Q1 results will be announced on 22nd Jan and H1 on 22/23 May.

714 is my notional target as it would mean I’d doubled my money! But not holding my breath.

There are no declared shorts (I.e above the threshold where they must be declared).

I’ve just noticed that there appear to be no declared short positions now!

I don’t believe a word of it!!! £2 on a domestic flight is hardly going change anyone’s flying decision. Bunkum, EZJ have, to my knowledge, made no such announcement and I very much doubt they would on good, steady results. They may not like the increase in APD but they would be stupid to announce anything of the kind. As far as I’m concerned, nothing to see here, move on.

I see a Director has purchased 7407 shares.

I don’t do religion or politics publicly. Just seen in the news that Israel have agreed to a ceasefire. May lift the airline sector generally?

I see EZJ now have flights on the Southampton/Amsterdam route on Mondays and Fridays. Seems to be a positioning move to get the plane to Southampton for the return Alicante flight. Only runs until 28th March but if it washes its face financially perhaps they will look at increasing days/dates. Southampton is my local airport and I’d love them to add Paris and Edinburgh even if not every day.
