Our code investment of £750k currently shows us at £400k profit (includes the part sell of some shares).

Continues to go from strength to strength. Great update and SP has followed suit. Definitely one of the good ones for us as up over 50% on that.

Yes they have been woken up! No thanks to the 'shares can go up as well as down' brigade who are happy to watch their investments half. Annoyingly these sort of people will reap the rewards of the folk who actually try to do something and voted. For clarity I voted against the directors but for consolidation.

Yes there has been a lot of presumption the consolidation would be voted through.

Ohmni - I think that is one of the most worrying things, how can it possibly come as a shock. I can imagine the meeting with the 'advisers':
Brent: ''i was nearly voted off the board at the recent AGM!''
Adviser: ''Ok, let me have a look at the last year and see if i can pinpoint anything. Brent, i see the SP was 0.14p on the day of the results of that SGS trial you were telling me about''
Brent: ''Yes, the SP was looking good as the results were positive''
Adviser: ''i see the SP have crashed since that day''
Brent: ''Yeah, that's probably because SGS sold the shares we gave them in the company as part of the deal''
Adviser:''Ah, but the results were positive though, so as you said commercialisation of the drug must be happening so VELA must be in for a windfall''
Brent: ''Yeah about that, we actually don't know what's happening with commercialisation and SGS have sold their shares without having the results peer reviewed''
Adviser: ' Brent, do you think that could be one of the reasons? But I assume you have kept the shareholders up to date and expressed your concern at the current SP and tried to allay their concerns''
Brent: ''FFS what more do these PIs want out of me''

agree was hoping for consolidation. Least Brent and Emma know there is a lot of discontent with Shareholder about their performance

All buys this morning and SP remains flat. Someone can sell £1 worth of shares currently and will drop the SP.....

Whoever was selling this morning in tranches of 9k and 10k shares has taken ~10% off the SP today. Hopefully they are now done!

There has always been the suspicion regarding the outcome from the trial as the results had no data to back up claims, 4 months on we still have no data to back up the 'successful results' claim. We have been led to believe from SGS and VELA that the trial was successful and commercialisation talks are ongoing. We should really wait until we are told otherwise officially. The only problem is the silence, SGS selling the first opportunity they could and the SP crashing is not very good supporting evidence for a successful trial.

Problem is the assets also include the non-current asset of SGS trial valued at £2.35M.

I agree with toffeeman. Yes we know investments can go up and down but if you were in this share before results you will have seen your holding go from 0.14p down to this pitiful and embarrassing 0.03p. So I think there is every right for investors to ask questions? Or lets all stay quiet and let the current BoD run this further into the ground. Give us something to be positive about?

Yes, not ideal but when the SP dropped so low we are bound to get profit taking on the way back up. Happy to hold

The selling at this level is particularly worrying. must be taking large losses at this level surely.

Well I am locked in, not worth selling at the loss I find myself at currently. Like everyone I wish I had sold on results day for a tidy profit. Live and learn I guess. We are currently 75% down since 'positive' results, yet we have had nothing from the board! Needless to say i voted against the directors.

The trial needed to pass the minimum threshold to be deemed a success. Apparently 'slightly better' than a placebo is deemed a success. Either way the SP has factored this failure in. We have been duped and that's all there is to it. We just gotta hope one of other investments can take off.

This raises huge questions if this is true. The words 'slightly better' are used a lot which doesn't equate to a successful trial!!

Yes apologies. I have from VELA who managed to get in pre IPO at 50p so that's where I got mixed up!
