That's a funny way to look at it. Production costs/barrel are quite low; cash flow is low because they're investing the money in growth. So maybe have a look at cashflow before growth capex instead. They're trimming, bringing debt down, buying back shares - I think this could easily double in a couple of years. I've haven't grinded their numbers and ERs hard, but from what I've seen it's promising.

Cheapest way for the major holder to take over this company would be to max out buy backs. Wouldn’t be the first time that happened.

G_G_G there's pretty much one description of the investment case and/or trigger points on a daily basis here.

Those come as a respond to Millstone (and others) "whatabout this and that questions", and funny narratives, e.g. "that went bad so this will also go bad, people have to prepare for things going bad" (I think I just summed up the last 1.000 posts by Millstone). But the endless QQ from a burned, old shareholder on a daily basis doesn't contribute with anything.

If you've read my earlier posts I'm not a big fan of management, the dilution (last 2),the lack of Cascadura focus and the Trin joke. Just like I'm not a fan of posters ramping the story. Personally I feel confident they have the money for the next 4 wells and they've had fair succes with wells - so odds are fine IMO that they'll hit at least one average+ well. So let's see. I think CB is going to be great and look forward to adjusted guidance in the half year ER (maybe sooner, who knows).

And that Millstone also contributes with a "debate" with the endless whataboutism and anecdotes? "Keeping the price low" - "they" don't decide the price; it's not like TXP (or "they"?) are producing chocolate or some random product where "they" can control/set the price. Now, go ask ChatGPT what happens with share price and momentum, post a bid @ 25p, when "they" have only obtained 25% :=)

Better odds @ 55p for sure, but still; I wouldn't sell but just enjoy the new floor price.

If there's no major shareholder, there's virtually zero chance of a take over.

If there's a (new) major shareholder, TXP management and board will see some serious whipping.
