RE: New contracts announced19 Dec 2024 14:06
Jim, I wasn't even looking at it before the drop. Even if I went back to look for signs before it happened and found them it would more than likely be just wishful thinking. But looking to the future is different and much of what I'm saying is based on price structure during and since the drop. So my interest was in a good company with a massive drop. To me that looks to give the potential of a very good entry price on a company with a good chance of recovery. I don't discount the risk of the price falling back and now that I'm interested and have a rough idea of where 'value' (not accounting value, but charting value) is likely to be, I'd rather buy that value than buy here. I've already taken profit and am now out as I think it will fall back. But I can't see the future. There are some knowledgible people on this board posting information of value and I think they're mostly positive. There are also people who have no clue what they're doing and they are also positive as they follow the knowledge. That in itself gives the market free hand to take your money. If that happens, everyone can say 'well, I didn't see that coming' etc, but the markets are not a game for the weak minded, yet the weak minded fill the markets.
