But you're right about one thing, it's not for everything. Oddly enough I think the reason it works for me is that I'm happy to admit that I don't know very much about very much!! Helps me with my decision making.

To be honest, my positions here were not that large. It's been a slow mover of late. Agree, the future looks better than the past and that the SP is likely move to the upside in the nearish future. I'm just betting that it will come off a bit first. If it doesn't I can buy back if I think it's a good bet or put the money to work on another stock.

Profit Trisor, profit. It's what so many on the bb's ignore oddly enough. That's despite the fact that every single one of us is invested to make a profit. It really amazes me how little people care about the what SP is doing. They seem to put all of their efforts into understanding the company and what the SP should be doing (in their view). I do see the longer term sense in that fundamental approach and use it also, but if the markets are not in an all out bull phase, it misses most of the money in most cases.

At a tax rate of 75% is it not 35% lower than the present we should be looking forward to?

Not sure about timing, but US is closed for TG today so markets might be thinner than usual. I agree that we're likely to see 19.25 or lower in the nearish future. I sold 80% of my holding yesterday at a good profit to back up that view. I don't think it will fall much further than that and view the SP as being in a longer term reversal and think we're likely to see upside after seeing 19.25 or a little lower. GLA however you decide to play this.

OK lse, waiting game now. I haven't bought yet as I've plenty of market exposure elsewhere, but it's in a range that looks more interesting to me.

I can't remember who it was, but someone was calling 65-66p on this with the intimation it would come ex-divi. That seems unlikely so far. My own view is that we'll remain above 69-70

Should it not go down tomorrow instead of today! We're at 71.2p or thereabouts. 70.3ish seems quite likely, be interesting to see if that's the bottom, but if it's ex-divi tomorrow rather than today (which the SP action suggests) then we might see further falls. I'm confused.

From a previous low between 217-218. Could be a double bottom going in if POO doesn't drop significantly. I'll add a fair bit if we drop back to 220 or below (which I think we will).

Not sure, Jet2 interims looked good this morning. Might get a boost. At the end of the day no-one can see into the future, but it seems most likely that TUI's reasults on Dec 6th will be pretty good. You'd have to hope that would translate into a move to the upside with a Santa Rally also taking form.

I held too many shares, got my average down to 495 and took a small profit by dropping a percentage around 511/512. I do think that at some time in the future we'll see 467ish or even 414 so I do believe I will get another opportunity to buy below the current price. I'm not sure whether that will be before or after a rise (into/after results?). Just got to run with what I have in front of me, manage what I'm holding and move money around to try to take advantage of the best opportunites.

Dan, it did strike me that the end of the buyback progam seems to have co-incided with a further slide in the SP. Maybe it was holding the slide in check.

Looks as though the sellers want to test 217. Goodness knows where it goes if it closes below that! But, HBR has a value and in my view it is higher than suggested by the current SP.

From a TA standpoint, we're at or around about the previous low from Nov 9th, 220ish was the low from July 6th and before that we had round about 217 on Jun 27th. All of these were simply read from the daily chart. For all intents and purposes the 217 figure is the all time low (daily chart). Might be worth a speculative buy at these levels, although those of a patient bent might be better waiting for either a daily close above 244 or at least evidence of buyers beating back the sellers. I shall continue to accumulate.

Same here MSM, I'm a fan of HTG, just don't want to be caught out by what looks to be an obvious risk (from a TA perspective). I'll wait, but I'll be very interested to buy back if the price does fall back.

I think it's very likely we'll see 19.2 or lower in the near future, but zooming out for a more high level view, I'd say the SP is likely to continue to rise and if we do get the drop to 19.2 or below, it'll most likely be a retrace in a more sustained move up. I won't add until we've seen 19.2 or below.

I'm unsure about where we go next here. On the one hand I have 532-535 as likely, on the other we've broken up from an iH&S pattern and a back test of the break would not be unusual. So, I see a risk of seeing 495 or even 467ish. I've previously said that I think at some point the SP will revist the 414 area. As a result of these thoughts, I'm somewhat lacking in confidence about the upside coming first. In addition there is another stock I'm interested in that has dropped to a price area that I think will provide a profit so as I always do, I've been trading according to what I'm writing. I've now dropped around 25% of my holding in TUI (I was carrying too much anyway) and put some of the proceeds elsewhere.
