Price seems compelling, but I can't help wondering (after this mornings gap down) whether we're off to 217/218.

What does yesterdays speech mean for EZJ/Ryanair etc? There was talk about 'banning' the marketing practice of upfront low fares and then piling on the extra costs. There's probably a term for that. I know the budget airlines have been making a lot from those extras e.g. baggage costs. Will they really be constrained in this area and will that really change their revenues or can they just charge more on the upfront fare to cover what's lost on extras (if anything at all)?

I closed that short for a loss of about 20 p. I would have closed out for b/e but my trading platform wouldn't allow me in this morning (Ig Markets seem to have a problem). It's irritating, but the SP looks perky for the short term. I still think longer term there will be a drop from here.

I don't think the incumbent government would go down the privatisation route, but a left of centre government might consider it. If it was a significant possibility and I'm not qualified to comment on that, then that would explain why the SP of ENQ and HBR refuse to rise.

Consistent with the message that travel related activity is currently good. Shouldn't hurt the TUI SP, whether it improves it is another question. Motley fool also ran this:

Looks like buying before results should pay off this time round. It's not usually something I do, but this mornings RNS looks positive.

The spread is pretty big at 9p, but I've entered and incredibly am 1p in profit. Let the good times roll!

'tanking' seems a bit heavy, but if it continues to fall, I guess HBR could come off with it. I don't yet have a buy signal so everything I've bought for the moment is speculative (and i'm well down on it).

2 days to go, the SP has closed it's downside gap and may well be preparing to move to the upside. If i get a buy signal I'll be tempted to buy a small position even prior to results (it's often not wise to hold over night when results are due. Nothing is certain in life, other than old age and death, but this is starting to look interesting to me.

Thanks Peter, my data says it didn't quite get there (which means my limits just above it haven't triggered sadly). This company has real value so there's only so far the SP can fall before buyers come in. Maybe we won't see 227, but I'll wait rather than chase it.

Thank goodness he doesn't write it, although if Hunt and Sunak have a hand in it may not be helpful either. The King is not accademically gifted, he talks to his tomatoes and spouts 'greens'. I have no idea whether he takes a pragmatic view of time, timing (the differences between the JSO pra tts and myself are to a certain extent about time and timing) and the need for fossil fuels at the current time and for the forseeable future. Let's hope we get some relief from the King's words (written by the government) although I still think we're trapped between a rock (the incumbent government) and a hard place (those waiting in the wings) in a fundamentally flawed political system at a time when 'influencers' in the media and social media (with no qualifications on the whole) are able to sway the views of our youth (who are as intelligent as our youth has ever been) to their ridiculous and impractical agendas. I do hope Kylie Jenner pipes up and solves this difficult problem for us.

Having taken out the 240 level that I suggested quite some time ago, we're now challenging a technical support at 234. It seems probable that we'll see 232 and if we don't close above that at the end of the next 2h period (in 1h 9mins time) then it seems quite likely we will see 227. If you believe in the company, then these prices look like good entries to me. However, mr Paranoia is always there and one can't help asking whether there's 'something going on' in darkened corridors around the halls of Hades.

And another limit buy!! i'm getting well loaded up here, 4 buys on shares and 4 on SBs and already nicely down. I'll continue adding and probably won't comment further on the buy side.

Well, another limit buy triggered on open and although I don't normally actively buy on open, I've added to my share position around 238. I'll keep adding should there be further weakness.

I went short, my position is still open so I'm hoping that there is no overnight great news. Always a risk.

What's wrong with identifying more than one area where bulls and bears might want to fight it out to decide on SP direction? What upsets you about that?

I've now had a much larger limit buy on stock go through (the first was a SB), but I'd re-iterate, that's purely speculative with no evidence yet that the bottom is in. I do intend to add quite a lot here if I get the right kind of SP action.
