'Hello all, just a brief advisory.

Effective October 1 I will conclude my role as Interim General Manager for H&W Belfast and return to the home office in London as the Director of Business Development for the Cruise and Ferry sectors. In this role I will also lead Harland & Wolff's initiative of building the Cruise and Ferry Centre of Excellence based in our Belfast Ship Repair facility. I am honored to be selected to lead this exciting project which will provide innovations to support cruise ships and ferries.;

Tonyh1975 ref 14.21 post I must disagree with you in respect of the sale of IM. At Monday's presentation if I heard correctly JW ruled out a sale of IM just to pay down debt. A trade sale is still on the table as is a JV or retain full ownership. Government funding to bring IM online is being explored. As I have said previously IM is an asset with a minimum 40 year life so a short term advantage from the sale of IM will causing long term harm. i am looking at the medium to long term so am quite willing to hold for another 10 - 15 years. I amexpecting IM to have been contributing to the profits for sometime by then.

Jfk9 ref 16.34 post I am not expecting a placing this financial year in view of the answer given to my question at the presentation on Monday. Itm is likely that HARL will meet its FY23 revenue forecast which would negate the need for a placing.

If I heard JW correctly he said about IM he said it was hundreds of millions/ So on that basis I think going slowly is in order. I also note that he appeared to rule out asale just to pay down debt.

Sounds like he is going forward with this which implies he has been given the nod by the DfT,

While the agreement is noteworthy and might give rise to significant business revenue I would caution against getting over excited. I am not expecting the share price to move significantly on this news on Monday.

Hopefully some of this networking can develop in short order to new contracts surely not all contracts take 18 - 24 months to negotiate.

LSE03 ref 16.17 post If the Isles of Scilly Steamship Group are not supporting the business case. Then I suspect that JW's move to run a ferry service will be looked on favourably.
