Also the monitoring of vessel movements is for a similar reason it gives us an idea about the amount of work going through the yard. I suspect I am not the only person on the board who have HARL on a long hold so daily share price movement do not generally concern me but would ocassionally comment on them.

What we have not had are announcements of signed contracts on the back of them. That said today's announcement reflects near term revenue streams. I would expect further announcements on progress on these developments and the green tugs by end of Q2 2024.

Si_Derman ref 10.14 I would hope that these new ventures would be cashflow positive. The only dockings information that we have is for Belfast. I suspect that the tugs would be hired out on the spot market. HARL may have to offer to the normal costs initially to gain business. I agree with your other comments.

Xenor ref 08.43 post I think you are right with regards to the Ferry service. If they do run the ferry service at least it will help with the cashflow.

Xenor ref 08.08 post I think we need to separate out different parts of the RNS. The Levelling Up funding which will be used for the new vessels will need to go through a tender process in order to access the funding for the new vessels. The proposed fast ferry and freight service will not as far as I can tell need to go through this service and can be bought in quicker. So the only contract that needs to be won is in relation to the Levelling Up Funding.

On your point about the market and financing news I am not sure you are right. Some people in the market may be waiting for the financing news I am not sure that it is all of them. Like on this board I think you will have different people focussed on different things.

This mornings RNS gives details of the new Marine Operations business. If JW pulls of the newfast Ferry service for Isles of Scilly then this would provide a stable source of income from next year. I also like the purchase of KMS which might also provide a new source of income.

I note from the Belfast Harbour that both Stena Superfast will be making visits to the SRQ. Superfast VIII is berthed in SRQ currently with Superfast VII due to follow.

Surprised having mentioned it in the BBC interview that we did not have a RNS about the possible 16 cruise ship contract. If this contract does come off then that would secure work for around 10 years. Which would overlap the FSS contract. There is also the possibility of renewable contracts coming through to further secure work for HARL. We do need more information soon on this 16 ship contract.
