Forward sales will lock in the house price with the deposit so they can probably cancel if it’s worth loosing the deposit or be quids in from a rise by 2025 hits.

Interest rates were always around that price until the 2008 crash. They obviously had to go back up some time and there is no way people won’t buy houses due to the rise. Some people may be priced out but no way on earth it will be everyone. Pointless getting a long term fixed rate mortgage as there is nothing to say they won’t drop by 2024? Also this rate rise means rental properties will cost more so it will still be cheaper to buy than to rent!

Banks have millions in spare cash so no way they can be affected the same way they did in 2008. Hoping for a 2008 crash doesn’t mean it will.

Paddyboy, You only have one thing to hold up your argument for much lower prices and that’s the 2008 drop. In 2016 after the brexit vote it dropped into the £11’s and after Covid it dropped into the £13’s and now it has dropped into the £11’s again. So apart from wishful thinking where is your proof it will go lower as everyone knows about the rate rises and Psn still aren’t in single figures.

If ww3 happens it will be lower than £2 but will anybody care then as I’m sure the people living in Ukraine aren’t that bothered if their shares are doing well.

The lads at work who do psn share scheme are being offered the shares for £10. I think everyone is very keen on buying .

If your only holding for a dividend then surely the share price is irrelevant if it’s all maintained and I see no reason why it should be cut as they are busier than ever.
