If you’re going to bed and Isa you have to ring your broker up and there is a fixed fee (£25 for Halifax). And they sell and buy back instantly in your isa. If however you decide to sell yourself you will have your normal trading fees then a two day wait before you can transfer the money into your bank account then a further two days wait for the money to transfer into your bank before funds are clear to move into your isa.

I know people who just wait the days and transfer themselves as it works out well if the share drops as you score for more shares but if things take a rise you obviously loose lots of shares.

It all depends on wether your happy to wait if you do the move yourself :)

Have a feeling the shorters will be out in force today

I timed the bottom nicely for a top up at .39p but have just pushed my average up by topping up today

It did drop a little today so took the opportunity to top up another £5k but I seem to be in a minority for buying as sells are pretty high today. Think I should have waited a little ?

I wonder if this will drop the share a little? But even at yesterdays close the price is still a bargain.

Barrats announced their half year results today and they are sitting on £1bn in spare cash but sales have dropped a little and they expect it to return to a brighter outlook later this year once people are used to the new norm on mortgage rates.

I expect Psn to have a similar outlook tomorrow and finally a decision on dividends in march or hopefully a clue to their thoughts on it tomorrow?

Had this problem loads today on Halifax

I thought the sites don’t go back till tomorrow? There is obviously a slowing in building on Christmas handover time as everything is focused on getting the houses handed over for end of year numbers but I know for a fact the site I’m starting on Monday has 50’ish houses to be handed over for March and all those are just shells at the moment so this year is still going to be mental!

The share price for March will be paying out on the profit for 2022 so that one will probably remain the same but going forward into a new year it may adapt? But knowing psn if they drop the dividend it will be a short term thing. Surely if they retain more money and pay out less in dividends it will mean a higher tax bill as there will be more profits for the company.

Most people are guessing it will be halved but the reality is no one knows till it’s announced in March!

Since the trading update is only a week away I have stopped trading this share as I don’t want to mess up if there is a rise after the update?

Since they started buying shares back they have repurchased over 2.1bn shares so more than 10% of the company has been bought back in the last year and yet with such a huge saving and the share price back to pre pandemic levels the dividend is still in the gutter!

Psn had a more than usual amount of cancellations in December but handovers for the first quarter and past is still mental. Keeping up with advanced sales is still going to fun in 2023 and interest rate hikes don’t just affect new buyers so everyone who needs a mortgage will just have to adjust to a new normal.

Hamm, you really need to research psn a bit more as their share price was no where near 10p in 2008. The lowest psn ever hit at the banking crash was £2.20 as I was tempted to buy some but at the time I had never bought shares before and had no idea on how to start.

Tomski, People can only dream of drops like that but in reality it will be very small. The papers keep telling us how bad it is going to be as that’s what they like doing, dramatic headlines and stories.

Reality is we are just in the same position we were with interest rates as in 2006, we had years of low interest rates and if this is the new norm people will just have to accept it and have to pay to play.

Rents are set so buy to let people can still make a living after paying their mortgage. If interest rates keep rising so will rents. People buying cheap rental properties is one of the reasons first time buyers are getting forced out.

With this and the other warrants that’s nearly a billion shares added to the mix

No kidding Sherlock! Half a penny valuation is going up but it’s not something to excite anyone.

Will the share actually reach the 2.7p that keeps being touted about or will production push the share into the 10p and above range?

Just out of curiosity, what exactly will happen to the share price if they do actually start mining in 2023?
