GLg has reduced its short in here yesterday. Now at 0.57%.

Gold finger, I have friends at work that are that and more down but if you see them they are pretty relaxed about it.

If people are selling make sure it’s for your own reasons and not because new posters have filled your head with 2008 lows.

I never expected us to be where we are so who knows what will happen but I do know It will change for the better. They aren’t announcing a dividend payment till next year so the share could be played with until then?

Topher, I won’t be topping up today unless UFO rises by 0.25p as that’s my next money to spend . Also the times I said I topped up I actually did and not make believe top ups!

Topher, it’s never going to take 7 years for this share to recover unless nato is dragged into putins war,

Also in the long run I do think Psn is a better investment than shell.

Why didn’t you jump out of shell before hitting a £50k loss as there was loads of time, it only dropped to £11 after reducing the dividend then it rose to £15 where you had every opportunity to get out on its drop to the £8’s. And if you try and tell me you didn’t top up shell in the £10 and under range you are a liar.

So I. Reality you are calling me when you did exactly the same thing in 2020. So what is your motive now to get people to sell out now as “getting out of a sinking ship”. Suggests you want people to sell??

Topher, I have never gave investment advice to people and have never said buy this share. You must be as much an idiot as I amas you had a bigger loss than me in shell also losing more money in another company.

There is always people like yourself that appear on every board when a share drops. The only bad thing I have done with this share is my timing!

Also I invest in other companies and I always sell out on rises just not with Psn,

Topher, you are a proper to55er, Of course I would rather not have the paper loss but I’m in these shares for the long run and I never expected these lows. I sold out on shell at £21.50 having had an £11 average so I don’t think I done too bad.

I had big losses in Bp as I bought that on the way down and that took two years to double from its lows. This share will recover and that’s why I’m not bothered.

If people are holding for long time they will always get big paper loses if the stock market turns down it’s how you deal with it and I’m pretty damned cool about it.

When Bp was crashing in 2020 everyone was saying oil is over and attitudes like yourself for buying in on the lows but two years later and look where Bp is now.

Bp was never going to go bust and neither is Psn!

I’m quite happy to see the shares at these lows as I had a plan two years ago to get as many shares as I could in a few companies to get say £10k a year in dividends. I’m well past that figure now and have a new goal of £25k per year in dividends and I will semi retire from work.

I took the family out for a Chinese on Saturday and at 7pm the restaurant was full, apart from the papers I see no evidence of people struggling.

If it does I’m more than happy to add a few extra hundred to my account. I never expected to see the levels we are at now so what ever it drops to happens and I will add as many as my funds allow :-)

My paper loss is sitting at £33k at the minute and I’m not bothered as I’m keep buying more as funds allow and my average is £18 which is good but not in todays market.

There is nothing to say it won’t go down further but buying in today is guaranteed double your money pin the long term!

So where is the doom and gloom now 81% increase in the shops!

I have just found out this morning that the north east are of Psn has two years of forward sales already. This probably explains why I thought this Christmas hand over period was going to be busy.

I don’t know how busy the other areas in the country are but I can’t imagine them being much different??

I sold 720 shares on last ex day and put it in three other stocks. I have sold one of them which was around 40% of the money and bought 600 shares last week and I’m hoping to cash the rest in this week or next and buy back in with a hell of a lot more shares.

If I had just held onto the money I would have probably bought back in at £15 but this way I’m forced to wait as I need my other stocks to rise. A drop into the £12’s works great for me when buying back.

Will even a positive trading update send the share price lower? As most companies this year with positive rns updates have had their share prices drop. It’s a mad world for trades at present.

I’m hoping for at least a 5p rise on a positive update.

Historical currency chart from 2016 shows the pound is doing better in Far East currencies to date apart from a small drop in Chinese currency. Not that big a drop to make it worrying for card factory.

I picked 2016 as that’s when the pound dropped on most markets due to the brexit vote.

Persimmon will recover, they always do. Last time I checked I was £27k in the red but I’m not too bothered as I’m not selling and hope to add another 1000 more in the next two weeks.

All the ftse is crashing down so it’s not just isolated to the housing sector and the site I’m on the amount of sold house getting added is much higher than normal. Virtually every house on the site that is up to brickwork level has sold stickers on and the ones that aren’t built they have the plot numbers on the fences with all sold plots.

I think it’s going to be busier for hand overs for this Christmas than past years.

The pound is only really tumbling compared to the dollar and a lower pound doesn’t affect the British consumer who is spending their hard earned in the shop. Unless your a director in card no one knows how this share is performing until next Friday then we all will know.

Rents are increasing and if there is another interest rate hike they will go up again. Buyers getting a home who are struggling to get on the ladder won’t be selling so a small price drop would be irrelevant if it happens as price will always rise and again so will rents.

I have lived in my house 22 years and don’t care what it’s value is as I have no plans to move. In five years time the average house price will be higher than what it is now. Scrapping stamp duty for £250k houses was needed as it was targeting first time buyers and its figure is well out of date.
