Didn’t Robin Hood trading app (free) stop people selling their GameStop shares so it could help the hedge fund get out of some of the hole it had dug its self into by shorting GameStop. Effectively loosing the small time investor lots of money.

Equilibrium. How safe are those trading platforms with your money, I have six figures in my trading accounts and use Halifax for my isa and share account as I would like to know my money is safe.

Just imagine the shock if your account was emptied due to trying to save a few quid on trading costs.

I think whatever your invested in today had a good chance of dropping, strange as they released data to show the uk economy had grown in may.

Oldguy, if I get a chance I will ask one of the directors what they think his strategy is like but it’s not a question I can just ask out of the blue so would need some time to pose it.

The new ceo was picked to help get persimmon into a new direction, and it seems to be working according to the chatter. It would of been easy to pick an in house ceo but then they would of followed the exact same model.
I know the old CEO’s and I know who will be ceo in 10 years time and it will be in house again

Glg increased their short on the 7th the highest the price was on that day was £17.80 so doesn’t seem like the perfect short day? With persimmon profits increasing what do these see in the charts that will cause the share to drop even more??
I thought the share price would of rose on Friday due to people returning the dividends but my isa didn’t clear my funds on Friday so it’s there to spend on Monday but my share account was credited by 12.30 and was spent by 1240 :-)

Psn is always going to be a long term hold for me as I have no interest in selling unless it’s at a peak so I can then buy on a drop. The lads at work I know who have absolutely loads don’t get too worried on drops as the day “ it will rise again” and it always does.
In ten years time I want this and other stocks I have to pay me enough money so I don’t have to worry about making big bucks at work so I can just relax and live and easy life.

Persimmons plan is to keep building houses, they are upping peoples money to try and combat labour shortages but the rises aren’t enough.

Devtrad, I would bet money on it that all the people on LSE who sold psn shares the day before ex date haven’t bought back in at this low and bought in on the £18-£19 range

Good results mean drops into today’s new trading market. Has iag still got big debts or are they paid off since they were doing a buy back scheme.

People talking of proper low prices and others believing it is what will stop people buying at a good price. In 2020 I was sat on my trading account with a nice bit of cash to spend and saw the £13.70 in my dummy buy but people were flooding my head with stories of dropping into single figures so I just watched the price and did nothing. A week later waiting for a drop that never happened I ended up topping up in the £15’s.
If you have no attachment and you aren’t bothered if the share suddenly rises then wait for your best entry figure.

What ever happens you always need somewhere to live and with rents being higher than mortgages it’s never going to get better unless you want to live in a caravan. Took a pound of my average with a nice top up today.

Let’s hope this kicking stays till the closing bell tomorrow.

The only way I would say completions are down is due to a labour shortage but the houses that didn’t make the half year completions will be pushed into the 2nd half figures so come December we will see a similar problem, persimmon haven’t increased labour rates for 15 years so now it’s time to have a proper re rate to pay trades a decent wage.
The shortage on completions is mainly down to money so until that changes the same problems are always going to happen. House prices will definitely rise as pay rises need to be funded from somewhere and it won’t come out of profits.
I was thinking of re investing my dividend back in here but I now think airlines are looking very tempting.

Would be nice to see it drop back into the £17’s for Friday top up.

Change it so it has your money as hold in account as sometimes they take a few days to buy shares that way and a lot can happen in that time. If the money is held in your account you can decide when you want to put it back in or if you fancy putting in another share.

The share price on the 8th stands a good chance to rise? At these low prices I will be re investing it back in here as I think will most people?
A nice dividend payment due next march the way my shares are adding up :-)

Moonpig has had a big drop since floating.

Everyone is raising prices on food, takeaways, beer etc etc so if card factory were to add even 10% to the price of a card would anybody actually be that bothered as they will still be the cheapest by far of any shop to buy a card.
