REPOSTED WITH TYPOS CORRECTED. So now we have it, forward guidance much reduced, 285,000 at aisc $1270. I posted a month ago I thought we’d be down to 300k ounces at $1250 aisc, and then again a little lower so exactly as expected. This is pretty good all considered as $200k profit despite Covid, take out tax and capeX and maybe a PE of 25 or 20 despite Covid, so as PE falls way down with return to full production and lower aisc shares should be worth more looking forward imho but my knee jerk down for those who were not expecting this. Great Inmaculada at full production!

Just a shame we have become a gold miner without anyone noticing, 2/3rds gold, and even greater in Inmaculada our main mine. However I moved £150k from Cey to Hoc, the last on Thursday, as Hoc had been very over hit by Covid production fall, and that third silver will soon be giving over half profits and mor, silver is very exciting, just wish we were mainly a silver miner

My feeling is the opposite, not to trade but to hold as I have for years, although selling all my other UK quoted shares last Jan and putting them into Cey Hoc and Fres, which turned out lucky but both seemed so undervalued then. Hoc felt so undervalued the last couple of weeks again - hit too hard by lower production figures as we were two years ago, and this time from Covid - that I switched £150k from Cey to Hoc, the gap between them had fallen fro £1 to 30p; I will switch back when the gap grows. That way I remain exposed to PM's at all times as I am not clever enough to time this sudden market and don’t what to be out when the bull gets going again. Now I cn no longer buy with no money Barclays and then sell later in the day I find trading the bull far harder than trading the bear as you are fighting the trend. Imho

Sorry gold £90 down and hardly up yesterday and today in sterling

Yes great to see sterling silver up and only a dollar below its high of 4 weeks ago while gold is £90 down, And bumbling lower, except we are of course a gold company with around a third production silver. Now if we could just find some more of either with both perilously low on reserves...

Yes, falling dollar gold in sterling, which affect profits for us, and it is still drifting down, now nearly $90 lower in 4 weeks, so our share price shouldn’t recover to its high unless and until this changes, seems fair value bumbling along where it is unless or until sterling gold lurches lower or begins to recover

Unfortunately what was known as Uruguay Minerals costs suddenly shot up above $1300 when gold was below that, so they ended mining. At the time leading to this the then CEO said all wasbrilliant so I hung on and topped up in the teens, hard for me to believe Anything the company says now. Also shows how dangerous reading people like Evil Knievil and Tom Winnithrith, However now called Orosur they did have an exploration site, in Columbia I think, NewMont invested in this diluting shareholders further, and leading to a very brief rerun above 10p when I sold half. I bought originally when in the 100’s, so this is just a large tax loss to me, I certainly wouldn’t buy any now as the company imho has zero credibility

Really depends for us on the PM sterling prices but they are up too, slightly over half a s much. The key and hope is that as the dollar falls PM percentage rise outweighs it.

Quite agree. Yesterday was as said I think speculators selling on the news, and also as said only to be expected. However what Powell said is very good for precious metals, I continue to hold. Was also good to see Hoc feeling stronger even if PM prices got it back down. Hopefully a double bottom for us. Finger crossed and I remain a rather too large holder with my hefty Hoc top up of the last fortnight as seems so cheap to me

As they say buy the rumour sell the fact. This planned out just as expected so now it’s carry on down, the question is for how long?

I believe so strongly that the drop is unwarranted, and next year we will be churning out cash, that I have adde another 62000 since the results, the last at 235, I wanted to buy more sub 230 but thought I had already overdone it.

Maybe 8pm, often it kneejerks in one direction to catch one put, and as traders take profits, then sets off much further in the other direction, it is a bucking bronco with an inconsistency that can catch one out

Noel imho no one knows how long this PM correction will last and hoc will turn when it ends. I think you may be wrong on the price in a few weeks, it could as easily be higher as lower
