I don’t understand why the sp is so low. ODX has a cast iron contract to produce between £0 - £374m of tests!! That is to say that if they don’t at least order 0 tests then we can take them to court. What’s not to like??

Anyone who now buys tomorrow in the 180s needs to have a serious word with themselves as to why they didn't buy yesterday in the 160s!

Given this is going to be 250p in another 4 trading days or 2 calendar days (don't think Ophidian specified this?) this has to be an absolute bargain now. Not many opportunities to double your money in a week out there these days!.....

.... in all seriousness I am tempted to add if it gets back to the teens but would rather it didn't and that Ophidians prophecy is somehow true!!! Just imagine!

But for that to work there has to be willing sellers at the held back price... which then suggests that the price in actual fact is not really being held back... supply is meeting demand.

Agreed - this spiked to 185 just on a YouTube video. Now we have confirmation any at 165. It’s not low volume with 3% traded already this morning. So plenty of buyers but strangely plenty of sellers. Who has been holding these and is now willing to part with them at 165?? So strange. I would understand some profit taking in the 180s/190s. As at least above placing price. Honestly makes no sense. Oh well. Still great news and further improves confidence that sometime in feb or March of next year we will get that monster RNS.

Was able to buy at 163 (I didn’t as loaded up yesterday at 147). I had this at 190 today so but if a disappointing open.

1st half revenue was £32m. I seem to remember we expected the annual revenue of napster to be £100m but there wasn't an outcry when the £32m got posted in results.... Is this because we expect H2 toe be £68m or do I have the £100m wrong in the 1st place?

My 2 questions.

1. If we strongly believe that we will win against the DHSC then why write off the money in FT statement? Best practice accounting is to accrue based on likelihood and actually (my limited understanding) is that you can fail an audit if writing off moneys that you actually believe you will get as well as accruing costs that you think are unlikely to materialise (vice versa to both is also true I believe). I feel misled that they are on one hand telling us how confident they are of recovering the money but also telling us that they have written it off.

2. Why are the directors not buying in large qtys at this price. Fine if it is due to being in a black out period but they just gave full year results so should not be the case.

Do they not have any II's here to nudge voting along? I have never seen a company having to campaign for Pi's to vote before

If you were going to take over SAE you would wait for administration and then buy it off the administrators without having to pay shareholders or worry about the debt.

The risk of this is obviously that SAE get additional financing through selling 1 of the core assets or another way (not sure they can place again without significant good news first) and therefore you don't get the chance to buy out of administration and you then need to pay a premium to buy out shareholders.

I think more likely vultures will wait for the former given that SAE

a) have only a 3 month cash runaway.
b) have just had a setback meaning the news which may have attracted additional investment is going to be a lot longer than 3 months away.
c) Have not been signed off as a going concern over 12 month in their recent FY accounts.

Seen it all before and was actually working in Debenhams finance debt when we got taken out in a debt for equity with no value left for shareholders. The senior management and employees were delighted as it secured the company (albeit not for long as it turned out).

In summary I don't disagree that the future for SAE is almost certainly through a private takeover but I think a lot more likely to be with no value to shareholders than a premium on the SP that you may be hoping for. Obviously a sudden grant of planning permission or a huge subsidy for tidal comes in the next 60 days and I could well stand corrected.

True. It is strange that he takes himself so seriously and does not seem embarrassed by his wide of the mark predictions. Always quick to anger when challenged as well. Maybe this time he has got some inside knowledge but I would say this:

1. Insider trading is ilegal so if material information has been passed on it should be reported.
2. Despite my high horse approach above, If I was in receipt of information that a share price currently at 112p was about to go to 250p in a matter of days I think rather than broadcasting it to a load of strangers on the internet I would find every penny available to me and buy as many shares as I literally could before passing the tip onto my nearest and dearest so they could also profit. I would then wait for the 250 p to arrive before taking profit and finally engage with previously mentioned strangers on the internet to enjoy the retribution for the abuse (justified or otherwise) received for previous rampy predictions.

BTW I have nearly £40k invested here and believe in AVCT for the long term so would love 250p in the next 10 days.

Sorry if this has been discussed before but are there any theories on whether the lack of payment owed by DHSC is linked to the judicial Review led by the Good Law Project? I don't think NCYT have ever said so and I don't see why they couldn't but it is interesting reading through ABDX RNS's and that is the clear reason for their lack of payment. They say that they have been advised that the DHSC will not pay outstanding sums until after the case has been heard. I guess if the ABDX board are able to update shareholders of this then the NCYT board could do the same if that were the reason. I also doubt we would have written off the money for accounting purposes. However, it is tempting to cling to this as the reason as I would then assume that payment will be made at the end of the review... Thoughts?

As everyone is saying. They must have loved the retail sellers giving them such a huge discount - imagine where the sp might have gone if they hadn’t been buying! I suspect they still are buying. Seems anywhere up to the 155s they are happy to accumulate.

I have been working off £2k per treatment as the basis for my calculations for quite some time. Is this still the best guidance we have or has there been a more recent view I have missed? It feels as though if we become 1 of many treatments etc we may not be able to command a really premium price. Obviously at £2k a treatment the upside is huge vs the risk.

Million shares is a cracking holding. My base is about 200,000 but any time it touches or dips below 8 I buy about 100k more and then look to trade in the high 9s/10s. Rinse and repeat - that is until the news is definitive. Not sold today as think the patent news is worth more than early 9s. GLA

I really hope that all of that gets announced tomorrow but my major doubt is that it is all material news which can't and shouldn't be saved up for a presentation. I can't believe they have just "lucked" out and this had come to the fore at the exact time they are presenting? Hope my cynicism is proved wrong... GLA

So. Last night we are all blown away by the discount given and the only depressing justification we can find for this is that this was the price needed to convince investors to support but this morning it sounds like we were oversubscribed as in we could have charged more. It feels like a scandal. How do these placing prices get decided. Fuming. Feels like sabotage.

How is this better than our share placement agreement that we are terminating? This is a 48% discount whereas the agreement was something like a 7.5% discount to last 5 day WAP… why would anyone who isn’t corrupt think this is the better way to raise money.

I also don’t like how we get no opportunity to ratify such an agreement.
