Any brainiac’s out there??!!

So on August 12th 2022 we announce we hit 10km Billion & now on 10th Dec 2022 we’ve hit 11km Bill so are we speeding up, I.e more vechicles on the road etc or are they just going further ?!

Surely adding an extra 1 Bill KM in 4 months is a great achievement but does it translate to dollars ;)

Today we welcomed our ‘supreme safety’ truck to the fleet. Volvo FM540 ‘Michelangelo’ fleet 616, a nine axle curtain side truck and trailer with full length mezzanine floors which will operate on HPMV permits at 58 tonnes on specific high productivity routes carrying some of New Zealand’s most valuable export products.

Anyone else think this is now becoming a bit of a joke ! Smart Eye have now released 4 OEM wins, I didn’t mind the previous small ones but this last one has upset to be honest.

What are we waiting for ? Why is it taking so long ? Our competitor is/was on its knees & we can’t even rub a little salt in their wounds with an announcement. This has annoyed me !

I think they probably loaded up again last few days & another RNS to follow.

Saw a 1m trade yesterday so I’m sure they gobbled that up.

Interesting how Smart Eye are releasing a stream of news flow & small design wins.Obviously desperately trying to halt the price decline.

I wonder why we have held of releasing anything material. Are we working on some big wins & news is coming ?! Bloody hope so !!

Interesting and enlightening 24 hours in #Canberra. Visit to Seeing Machines was a dream come true after starting work with FacLab in my first project HASTE with @Trent Victor et al. 20 years ago and recent formal collaboration with Mike Lenné and his team since 2017. Awesome #OMS technology (accurately guessed my age too ??). Then over to UNSW to see some robots (made me miss my dog!). Flying in a propeller plane was much smoother than my last experience in Scotland! #collaboration #technology #team #robots.

Apple is now planning a less-ambitious design that will include a steering wheel and pedals and only support full autonomous capabilities on highways, the people told Bloomberg.

The report added that the company plans to develop a vehicle that lets drivers conduct other tasks on a freeway and be alerted with ample time to switch over to manual control.

Last year, a Bloomberg report said Apple was pushing to launch its electric car as early as 2025 and refocusing the project around full self-driving capabilities.

Very interesting that there was no ‘white knight’ to save them. It was argued that they could be an acquisition target to compete with Magna/SEE but looks like they’ve had to fall on their sword & even get a bridging loan to get them thru till funds secured.

I see this as very positive for SEE as any OEM carrying their due diligence will pick us well before them at every point from our advanced tech to our cash position.

Not sure why they are holding out on releasing news but now would be a great time to announce a big win & cement our advantage!!

Anyone else think this is worthy of am RNS ? Has SEE allowed Caterpillar to licence out their tech ? Could allow Cat to roll this out to other big mining corps which means big bucks for us :)
