Helloooo Collins/SEE ?

Volkswagen currently holds a majority share in Audi, Scania, and Porsche, and also wholly owns Skoda Auto, Lamborghini, and Ducat
in the updated octavia, Škoda has replaced driver alert with the attention and drowsiness assist, as seen in the all-new superb and all-new kodiaq. the system monitors the driver’s behaviour and assesses their level of drowsiness. while driver alert mainly analysed data from the electromechanical power steering, the attention and drowsiness assist accesses information from various vehicle control units, such as the lane assist. it uses an innovative algorithm to recognise short-term inattention (distraction) and long-term inattention (fatigue). it detects deviations from normal steering behaviour at speeds above 65 km/h and continuously evaluates the driver’s behaviour to draw conclusions about their fitness to drive. if the system concludes that the driver is fatigued, it triggers visual and audible warnings in the virtual ****pit at three levels: recommendation, warning and escalation. if the driver does not respond to any of the system’s warnings, the emergency assist will pull the seatbelts and jolt the brakes. the system then triggers the warning lights, holds the lane and slows down to a complete standstill. finally, the emergency assist automatically calls for help via ecall.
Not sure who’s DMS tho ?

Waiting to see what he thinks.
Interestingly he thought Smart eye would announce 2million cars on the road but having seen interview they said that was not achieved.
Nevertheless their stock goes up & our goes down. it’s frustrating but we just have to believe there are better days ahead & watching that interview only increases my view that SEE will be the dominant player in the years to come.
So if you did not believe AIM was crooked as hell then think again.
News from smart eye with nothing world beating & it flies to 7% & we drift down to under 5p.
I’m not sure what SEE can do to be honest except keep their heads down & work hard to break even to convince the market.
Maybe make enough to throw in a juicy dividend to keep all existing long term share holders happy & make anyone that missed out regret it !
Smart Eye’s Q1 2024 report is out – showing strong growth for our #automotive business 💪
Today at 11.00 am CET, watch Smart Eye’s CEO Martin Krantz and CFO Mats Benjaminsson will be presenting the report in a live stream hosted by Redeye AB, followed by a Q&A moderated by Redeye’s analyst Jesper von Koch.
Tune in live or watch the recording here: https://lnkd.in/dRDP7Z_C

Let’s see what they have to say, no doubt spin some new contract win worth millions & it’ll jump 20%.
I’m not invested in Smart Eye but always good to look at the competitive landscape.
Just a dog of a stock at the moment. Nothing SEE does supports the share price. Looks like market players want to punish any non profitable companies , so sooner we get to breakeven the better.
Seems like all we do is say, wait till the KPIs come, wait till we get contract extensions, wait till aviation etc ! . something has to give as this stock is frustrating as hell to hold, but hanging in there through gritted teeth.
Never seen a share like it
system and method for gaze and pose detection to anticipate operator intent.
sep 22, 2021 - rockwell collins, inc.
a system and method for inferring operator intent by detecting operator focus incorporates cameras positioned within a ****pit or control space of a vehicle and oriented at an operator of the vehicle. the cameras capture images of the operator in a control seat; the images are analyzed (either individually or sequentially) to determine a gaze and/or body pose of the operator (including, e.g., a position and orientation of the torso and limbs). by comparing the determined gaze and/or body pose to the positions and orientations of potential focus targets within the control space (e.g., windows, display units, and/or control panels that the operator may engage with visually and/or physically), the system predicts the most likely future focus target or targets: what the operator is most likely to visually and/or physically engage with next. operator intent may be further analyzed to identify potentially abnormal or anomalous behavior.

So what you are saying is that if any of the directors bought a boat load more shares, then it will make no difference & won’t influence the share price. So if PMG & Martin kept buying you won’t consider that as positive?
I disagree, I want them to keep buying ! Market makers see catalysts in stocks & directors buying is one of them.
I would have liked other directors buying to support the growth story. PMG & Martin have been active which is postive.
But Lombard odier (M. Brown) have been quiet for some time & Kate Hill not bought either.
Anything to give support to the share price would be greatly appreciated as this has to look undervalued to them surely.
Innovations in Ports and Maritime Operations
Guardian SEA
May 10, 2024
Maritime transportation presents a unique set of challenges where vessel maneuvering and crew safety are important, particularly in port operations. Ensuring the safety and efficiency of maritime operations necessitates innovative solutions that address the high fatigue rates among crew members and the high accident frequency encountered in the marine environment. Traditional solutions often fall short in meeting the specific demands of this setting, leaving a gap that Guardian aims to fill.
The Challenge of Fatigue in Port Operations
In port operations, where there is a high demand for efficiency, fatigue among crew members poses a significant risk. High fatigue rates compromise crew safety and impact overall operational efficiency. Addressing this challenge requires proactive interventions tailored to the unique demands of the maritime environment.
High Fatigue Rates
One of the primary challenges in maritime operations is the prevalence of high fatigue rates among crew members. Fatigue not only poses risks to crew safety but also undermines operational efficiency. Guardian recognized the urgent need to address this issue and developed a solution to combat fatigue-related risks in real-time.
High Accident Rate
The marine environment is inherently dynamic and unforgiving, leading to a higher-than-desirable frequency of accidents. These accidents jeopardize employee safety and result in costly disruptions to operations. Guardian’s solution aims to reduce accident rates by mitigating fatigue among crew members, thus enhancing overall safety and operational continuity.

Euro NCAP - For Safer Cars, Vans & Trucks new #TruckSafe testing protocols will be released on Wednesday May 15. With great timing, Seeing Machines has announced its next-generation aftermarket Guardian Gen. 3 has started production. Seen in the picture, this product integrates the IR optical path, vision processor, and #4G modem all into a 1-box solution. That is an extraordinary feat of engineering, which balances the conflicts of small size (to not impede driver's view) with enough space to dissipate the heat of the active components. Intriguingly, Seeing Machines has used Ambarella Inc’s CV25 #AI #SoC for the processor. Ambarella is not often thought of as a supplier of #automotive processors, but has clearly won here over more established suppliers such TI, Renesas and NXP.

This will be the first time our tech goes in high volumes in China.
VW sell approx 3 million vechicles a year in china so depending on how many cars are installed with our tech this will be a considerable uplift in KPI's for August.

A lot has happened since then & we’ve had our doubters but you have to say SEE is in good health & just needs to keep to their promise of break even !
If we can manage that we will be seen as a powerhouse & licence machine similar to ARM in its early days.
We also have an aviation contract to win as Collins will be issuing a statement soon on the blue label product ! We have a blue label coming this month according to PMG & Martin Ive🙏
Won’t be long till we are back at 11p, could happen by September if we keep on track & produce the numbers expected by the analysts.
Successful start to 2024.
Parallel to our dynamic BEV ramp-up, we achieved our margin targets in the first quarter. We continue to generate strong demand with our strong products.
“The past nine quarters underline BMW's continuity and reliability: As planned, we are dynamically expanding the share of electric vehicles while maintaining our high level of profitability. Some call this transformation — for us, it is continuous progress,” said Oliver Zipse, CEO of BMW AG.
