The UK Government has confirmed plans to mandate 18 advanced vehicle #safety technologies, including Advanced Distraction Warning and Drowsiness and Attention Warning, for all new vehicles entering the market.
Last year, Seeing Machines partnered with Brake, the road safety charity to advocate for these life-saving technologies to become mandatory in the UK, and our Chief Safety Officer, Dr Mike Lenné, was proud to be a signatory on Brake’s joint letter urging the Government to adopt the latest safety standards.
It’s encouraging to see this evidence-based policy direction become a reality. A huge step forward for protecting drivers, passengers and all road users. #SeeingMachines #fatigue #drowsiness #distraction
