CB stated he’s waiting on new VW models to get NCAP rating.
VW Tiguan might not have our tech but safe to say NCAP will be testing those that do shortly.
Hopefully he will share so insights once they do. If we get this right then this will be a huge positive for the company & reaffirm confidence to both the market & OEMs.
Are we in the new VW New Tiguan ?
Hopefully Colin Barnden may comment on LinkedIn if we are.
Top marks for top-selling model: new Tiguan achieves highest score for impact protection and accident prevention technologies
Enhanced protection in rear passenger compartment: rear side airbags are also fitted as standard in the new Tiguan.
New exit warning system: the entry-level version of the latest Tiguan already includes a wide range of assist systems such as the exit warning system
Euro NCAP, the renowned European consumer protection programme, has awarded the new Tiguan the highest rating of five stars for safety. This means the third generation of the best-selling model is officially one of the safest vehicles in its class. The Volkswagen scored particularly well in the category of child occupant protection. This rating is all the more important as the Tiguan, which has sold well over 7.6 million units, is an ideal all-rounder for families.
5-star rating. The Volkswagen model was tested by Euro NCAP – the European New Car Assessment Programme – in the categories Adult Occupant Protection, Child Occupant Protection, Vulnerable Road Users and Safety Assist (which tests driver assist systems fitted as standard). The 5-star rating achieved by the new Tiguan stands for an excellent overall rating for impact protection and good equipment with comprehensive practical accident prevention technology. Since 2023, the Euro NCAP test criteria have become even stricter: the new requirements include, for example, the ability to detect any children left in the car – this criterion is also fulfilled by the new Tiguan generation. In addition, protection in the rear passenger compartment is optimised by the side airbags for the outer seats fitted as standard in the new Tiguan. For families with children, the exit warning system on board the Tiguan as standard is a useful feature in everyday life. Within the system limits, it can protect against an occupant opening one of the doors when another road user (bicycle, e-scooter, motorbike, etc.) is approaching from behind. The system issues both acoustic and visual warnings in this case.

Market seems to distrust any positive analysts views.
Meanwhile our competitor on what looks like better exchange than AIM are reaching all time highs.
SEE is a dog of a stock at the moment, frustrating but we fight on. Wonder what SmartEye have up their up their sleeve must be a big win !
Hope not but can’t think of another reason why ours is dropping & theirs is popping!
Hmm ignore looks like an old article
WASHINGTON (Reuters) -Three Democratic U.S. senators on Monday said they are introducing legislation that would require U.S. regulators to mandate installation of driver-monitoring systems to ensure motorists pay attention while using systems like Tesla's Autopilot.

, Richard Blumenthal and Amy Klobuchar introduced the measure on Monday, saying they hope to get it included as part of infrastructure reform legislation. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has opened 28 probes into Tesla crashes to date, with 24 pending, where Autopilot was suspected of being in use.

Rostering to the limits’: senior Virgin Australia pilots raise safety concerns over fatigue
Senior pilots at Virgin Australia have alleged fatigue is widespread in their ranks and raised safety concerns about a roster system some claim is working them “to the limits”.
Guardian Australia has obtained correspondence from senior pilots pleading for action to address worker fatigue as Virgin Australia and the Transport Workers Union (TWU) remain in a standoff over a proposal to strip pilots of six days’ annual leave during negotiations for a new enterprise agreement.

This is positive if Magna are looking to improve & ultimately strengthen their moat on the rear view mirror location. Hopefully this keeps the SEE partnership in tact for many more years to come.
Really important & crucial now that VW models with mirror DMS get the 5* rating.

Martin Ive stated first milestone is a blue label product in May 2024 & then red label goes into production in 2025.
If they don’t announce the blue label this month then no guarantee the red label goes into production next year so all to okay for & I like many others want an update on this.
PMG - please give us an update on blue label product that has been promised to launch by May 2024 with Collins Aerospace.
What are the projected revenues & what is happening with the 330 airline OEM deal that you we saw you discuss with the Italian investors ?
We need more news on all fronts to build momentum as the lack of a sustained newsfeed is killing the stock price & also really peeing of long term holders who have not been rewarded for their loyalty.
Meanwhile your competitor is hitting all time highs, which is even more frustrating.

Will they be installing GEN 3 ? 700 upgrades ?
Doesn’t matter what they say or do, investors & analysts give them the benefit of the doubt or maybe they are going to announce another contract ?
Meanwhile we still can’t catch any tailwinds. SEE would we wise to put out an RNS when they hit 2 million cars just to reinstate performance milestones plus get a move on with this blue label cert with Collins Aerospace.
We need a continuous stream of news to move this share price as it’s lagging its piers by a country mile at the moment.
Yes mate but you’re doing a great job in untangling 👍 keep up the great research.
Who’s DMS Terry ?
Wow our GEN 3 marketing video is awesome !
All worth listening to but spied il to 20mins & you will see the clip, this is different level & sure to put us at a competitive advantage.
I don’t know why we have to sift thru to find this, should be showcasing this everywhere.
With long hours on the road, it's no wonder commercial vehicle drivers often suffer from poor mental health. Failure to manage driver fatigue within your operation is not only bad for your drivers’ mental health, but can also have serious ramifications. In fact, four in 10 fatigue-related crashes involve someone driving a commercial vehicle.
#FORS held a free webinar with our partner Seeing Machines, to help transport managers better understand Driver Monitoring System (DMS) technology. The webinar explored the prevalence of #driverfatigue and distraction and the science behind how DMS technology addresses these issues and helps driver wellbeing and #bestpractice. As always they focus on all the potential but don’t highlight the glaring & obvious fact that ramp up is still nothing to be excited about.
I wonder when we will have a positive rally ! Surely it’s our time to shine soon 🙏
It’s bonkers when you think about two companies in the same AI space have contrasting share price volatility when SEE news is so much more positive than Smart eye.
As always our fundamentals will align & we will get rerated & rewarded. Frustrating I know but patience is key.

I’m always amused with Jesper & the whole smart eye presentations.
I feet the Swedish investor community are definitely more forgiving & see the positives more than the negatives.
This actually gives me some comfort as I don’t think SEE are doing much wrong but the AIM investors are harsher critics and capital markets try & play games with manipulating share prices to make a tidy profit.
My only gripe is the FTErE 100, DOW Jones & Nasdaq have made some serious gains & some including me have missed out as invested in SEE. Nothing is for certain but the fact that we have BMW & VW in our list of OEMs will be why we will be back to double digits by end of 2024 !
Stay long & stay strong folks.
