Seems the imminent Share consolidation will finally see this stock soar above £1 a share lol 🤣🤣

For every 15x shares a shareholder owns, they'll receive 1x consolidated share...So therefore

@ 13.5p SP - New shares issued would convert to 202.5p

@ 14.0p SP - New shares issued would convert to 210p

@ 14.5p SP - New shares issued would convert to 217.5p

RNS today states:

"Capita has today published a circular to shareholders (the Circular) in relation to the proposals first announced in the Full Year Results Announcement, detailing the Board's proposals to:

optimise the structure of the Company's balance sheet and enhance the Company's ability to return value to shareholders at the appropriate time in the future by cancelling the entire amount standing to the credit of the Company's share premium account (the Share Premium Reduction); and

consolidate the existing ordinary shares in the Company (the Share Consolidation) at a ratio of 15 for 1, which would involve every 15 ordinary shares of 2 1/15 pence held by a shareholder being consolidated into one ordinary share of 31 pence."

Seems there will be both a 'Share Premium Reduction' and a 'Share Consolidation' taking place for CPI!

Article completely overlooking the broad sector wide consolidation going on mind you... i.e. a few of the big players offering many more services with each wrapper and they're proving they can beat CPI on price (as they're operating at greater efficiency levels).

CPI has so far been lagging well behind on new business.

More downsizing on the way yet as revenues will continue to really struggle with just leveling out.

Yes King5hott, I agree and I have referred to what i think will be the German market stabilising in the quarters ahead, and then potentially resuming growth thereafter. After all the ECB also began their rate cutting far earlier and they have made deeper rate cuts too which should act supportively.

I was transparent about having bought into VOD - I commenced my buying back in Nov, and I've been accumulating on dips ever since. My average is ~67p and already I'm sat on a tidy profit. I haven't sold a single share mind, and so yes... they are paper profits only atm.

VOD SP is really picking up the pace now... Presumably because results have been positive and poor performing parts of the business have been sold off for both debt pay downs and share buybacks. Plus with the wider macroeconomic turbulence I imagine the imminent 3 merger is seen as a good consolidation move towards greater efficiency and VOD no doubt being seen as a superb defensive 'house stock' to be added to anyone's portfolio or as a wise buy for Pension + investment funds to load up with.

Stupmy - as I've said on here previously, I think EZJ is way overbought and I agree SP drop today is not directly related to the Heathrow fire. More to do with economic weakness and the UK Gov borrowing overshooting figs.
