Anyways to address your point TerryM1. Yes, I stand by my 15.5p 'Weak Buy' because of the fundamentals in play here for CPI, ahead of the consolidation there will be some speculative buying but... there's also the global turbulence to account for, and that's why I remain 'Strong Sell' this week...

Nonetheless, I think we'll see 15.5p here for CPI, prior to consolidation. However, it's just made especially difficult to tell precisely when that might occur -thanks to the Orange Man-Baby doing much Trumping, over the pond, and in the WH.

Ever since then CPI has struggled and the results were in line with my estimation too.

Depends entirely on your personal situation and your investment timeline/strategy.

E.g. if you're planning to hold your EZJ stake for the very long term (8yrs+) then I doubt you've anything to be concerned about.

Very difficult market conditions today, and yet VOD is weathering this turbulence pretty well IMO! FWIW I continue to see VOD as being a strategically defensive stock to keep accumulating in my portfolio.

Could the subsequent board decision to press ahead with a consolidation proposal be doing CPI SP even more damage here?

Those who sold at the 570p will have been lucky but fundamentally there's still weakness here, despite full planes for the popular routes. Fuel remains pricey, as do other input costs and ticket prices -which is serving to erode recovery because the recovery should have been far more rapid but... it just has not turned out that way, yet. So it was relatively 'easy' to forecast there would be a drop here for the SP - which is precisely what I did and I shared that view on here. EZJ is way overbought by some who are now going to suffer a painful reality check.

As I've been invested in TUI previously, I may buy in here but... only if and when I believe the conditions are right.

Primetime51 - interesting you raise topic of BT... I still think it will prove (at next results release) to be underperforming and I think it'll drop as a result. Yes, speculators have pushed the SP upwards (as well as a couple of big notable investors buying into BT). I remain net negative on BT mind you, and I still view 130p as possible/likely in the FY2025-26.

Giantsquid - 😂😂 - Trump wobbles & weaves around all over the place, like a shopping trolley. Businesses much prefer stability... Trump is polar opposite of what business & traders require, hence why markets are so volatile atm.
