Right Issues are a scam there is no getting away from it. In fact they should be called Right Issue Participation OFFer and just shortened to RIP OFF.

Selecta knows this already but I am ball deep in the AA hoping they get taken over but if they don’t then they will need to refinance and raise money no doubt with a RI. Keep your eye on it guys because if that happens then you will be able to get in at the bottom when it’s all over like I did here.

“As set out in the Prospectus published on 11 September 2020 by Saga in connection with the Capital Raising (the "Prospectus"), Sir Roger De Haan is subscribing for 348,583,026 New Shares in the Firm Placing and is also subscribing for 204,250,307 New Shares in the Placing and Open Offer, and, as a result, from Admission will hold 26.40 per cent. of the Enlarged Share Capital.”

OK so sir Roger took an additional
204,250,307 of the 351,397,832 shares that were Open Offer “Declined”.

That still leaves 147,147,525 unaccounted for and possibly allocated to Institutional Investors?

Yes Bat thats what I initially thought but the numbers didn’t add up so i investigated further and found the above RNS.

The Open Offer shares numbered 623,335,182

Over 3M were not taken up so Sir Roger took just over 2M of them along with his Firm Placing.

The above RNS was the missing link to the missing shares and just wondered if anybody could shed some light on where they are?

Sorry for the rough numbers but I am not at home so haven’t got my notes in front of me.

I know I’m quite vocal about my “losses” but I’m not alone here. There are some serious players on this board with many multiples of the number of shares I owned. That drop from 87p back down to 50p was serious for anyone with a large holding and I’m not the only one who made the mistake of not selling. CC has 3 Million shares and I think da has a million. Dimi has 800,000. Every +/-1p for CC is £30 grand wow and he hasn’t sold any. Now that’s balls of steel.

Wasn’t a typo we actually had 100 me and the wife 50 each and they were an absolute joke. The most we ever won was £100 and a £25 in one month. Most months 2 x £25 and some months nothing. Never again. Every month cashed in a couple of grand to live. I think it was down to just over 60 when in March I decided to give shares ago. I can’t be tripped up Stick because every single thing I put on here is the absolute truth. No reason to lie. I have “lost” 200 grand of my paper gain but still 100 up.

Hi Rob not so much lost faith I just think that there is nothing happening quickly here (could be wrong) so my plan was to go and double my money elsewhere and come back and get more AML shares for my £. It’s actually backfired though and in hindsight maybe I should have been more patient.
Sitting on your shares and doing nothing is borrrrrring though!

TinyPie honestly mate if you think you are addicted now you have got no idea what’s coming - that is assuming you make any money!
When I started this in March I had 60 grand in the premium bonds and every month I would excitedly win a couple of of £25 prizes. My target was to make a couple of grand. My 60 turned to a 100 and then 200 and cutting a long story short 350.
I got greedy and that’s the problem.
Good luck with your plan mate but you will find the more you get the more you want. I have lost the biggest bulk of mine now trying to get back what I lost!

Dunn as of last night I’m exactly £100,000 in profit still. Amazing as that is it doesn’t feel it because the last couple of weeks I have “lost” £45,000 with the AA (and SAGA) and just prior to that loads £ with RR and IAG.
I just wish I could walk away from all of this but I have tried several times and just can’t!

Hi Jed I can show you with the help of numbers (I’m a numbers man) if you want but it’s no surprise that the Mcap is approaching the same as the average Mcap for the 6 months prior to the Dilution. Nothing really has changed. If anything it is slightly worse because Saga has now taken delivery of a new ship and this god forsaken virus just wont go away. If it’s any consolation IMO we shouldn't go much lower than this because we have still got the additional £ raised from the RI so we are in much better shape. The price fluctuations are just the MM algorithm working to generate money for them preying on weaker PIs to sell up.

My guess is Tiny has 243,701 AML shares.

TinyPie always remember those 3 little words that have stood the test time when questioned about anything in a marriage. They always work. My son has heard me use them use them and now uses them himself.

Once you have been diluted you can’t “undilute” yourself after the event by buying more shares.
I understand what you are saying that you have bought additional shares at a really good price but you have had to put your hand in your pocket again and do just that, buy them with more of your £. The price you paid is irrelevant.

Enjoying the banter guys but I think we just have to agree to disagree on this and move on!
