Doing nothing is just not an option in my book I wish it was sometimes and I must come across as a right loser sometimes but check this out!
Stupidly being impatient and selling my AML shares I broke even £ BUT the AA shares I sold yesterday have gone down so I bought back an extra 2000 ! That’s about £500 ! Overall still losing but £500 less “of a loss” lol
Ha ha thanks DavidHos I need that. I work alone well when I say “work” I mean I sit all day with this iPhone pressed hard against my face checking prices. I don’t see a soul (although the do speak to one!) most days and I am beginning to resemble Jim Carrey off the Trueman show. You are all actors arnt you? This is a conspiracy!! Ha ha lol!!!
Ye 4kin kidding me on q ffs As soon as I clicked on sell I watched them increase? There’s a camera on me for sure. Bought more AA and they have dropped again ehhhhh?
Hiya Mark and a big Welcome. My son works in Toronto and I persuaded him to buy AML shares. He was reluctant and I told him I was so confident he would make money that I would make up the difference if he lost. His first purchase was at 87p. Ha ha We sold them a few weeks later I think for 55p Never again. Lol
33 I haven’t got a large holding anymore, well not in AML. I couldn’t stop myself from buying this morning but it’s just a bit of fun and most probably sell the safty.
33 I don’t think the average holding here is 200,000 units. That’s £100,000! If we did and there were 100 of us though yes it would be 1% of the Company. Ie 18.2 Million shares.
Ha ha that’s reassuring! No doubt he is reading this then. WG having now seen your photo on ADVFN I apologise for thinking that you were an auld granny in a nursing home! ha ha
Jackin please take time out and report him so Lse can take it further. The likelihood is that he is a teenager having fun and is just after a reaction. Fingers crossed now for some good news. GLA
Ashash always look at the date and time of the trade because the larger trades are often reported later or even the following day. Quite often you will see a buy reported as a sell and vice versa. Using the time you can normally match it up with other trades around the same time and work it out yourself.
Great News! This lockdown is not going to adversely affect the operation of the St Athens factory. Excellent news and such a relief for all the shareholders including me because I still have a sizeable number in my wife’s ISA. How hard would it be for AML to announce this via an RNS? Not at all. Doesn’t give a flying 4K about any of us that’s for sure.
Wow look at all the “A”utomatic buys and sales generated by people’s stop losses and limit buys this morning at 26p. They are only small and pretty much cancel each other out but n terms of shares bought/sold but everyone of them makes £ for the MMs. This is one big game and we are the players being played.
If normal market forces were in play then this share would go down this morning because of that review but they are not because as we know this share is being tightly controlled. However if the Welsh Government decide (today) to do a lockdown then I think even Stroll will struggle to keep this at 50. Fingers crossed for those invested and GLA.
RE: It’s Sunday! (Close enough) Off Topic Other Share talk!18 Oct 2020 20:59
Oh yes for sure and it’s coming. It’s hard to believe but some shares (Saga) are a fifth of the value of what they were pre Covid. If you believe the World has got a future and your glass is half full not half empty then make sure you have at least something in a recovery stock.
The bigger the drop the bigger the recovery (and risk of course!)
