Hi GT4 I just cannot believe that I have been lucky enough to stumble upon SAGA at the price it’s currently at today. I have been scouring through past RNSs and reading the discussions on Lse and ADVFN and I just cannot believe the current share price it’s ridiculous! I have a feeling it will drop to £1.10 (new money) and if it does I will be investing in it for sure!! NO BRAINER!! IMHO of course.

Hi Dimi yes I'm hanging onto my AA until at least the end of next week but like you I’m very impatient! SAGA is calling me and IMO that is a definite 5 bagger? What do you think?

Not sure if you read my posts over at AML but I’m “all in” at AA at the moment waiting for a potential takeover (next week?)

I have been watching this like a hawk though and I think this has got great potential and is an absolute gift at this price.

Serious question.
I’m looking to invest in Saga but concerned that the only reason for the share consolidation is so they can do another share dilution.
I know this sounds ridiculous but it’s exactly what AML did earlier this year.
They didn’t do a consolidation in between but having just done a dilution to 30p a month or so later when the share price rose a little they did another one at 50p to the shock and disappointment of all us PIs.
Not deramping or scaremongering that’s not my thing. Am I being paranoid?

I can’t 33 I’ve been in and out of most the Pharma's in March switching between them until I chose AVCT. PaulOz was recommending TILS a few weeks ago at £1.80 but I was in and out of it at 30p so just couldn’t now pay £1.80. Do you not think there is something about going back into a share you were previously in at a much lower price. Just can’t do it. It’s like the thought of trying again with an ex girlfriend. No going back ha ha

Naaaaa balanced portfolios are just not for me. All or nothing. Go big or go home. In for a penny in for a pound. Ehhhmm

100% I will go “all in” to SAGA but I’ve made a promise to myself that I’m never ever evvvvvvver going to sell again at a loss so AA needs to come good first.

Yes i remember that Nevas and you were right! Now is a perfect time to invest. Yes 33 I “9 bagged” AVCT never traded it (you WG and PaulOz started me doing that!) just kept adding and cleaned up.
SAGA is the next AVCT but you needs balls of steel which you and Nevas are never going to have I’m afraid! Ha ha

It would have been a master stroke if I had left the £ in the account i didn’t I “invested” it in other stock which has gone down so no better off truthfully. Everyone here including me is hurting because we have all lost £ in the last couple of weeks. Double edged sword having large numbers invested though because the losses are larger but so will the gains hopefully. We are all in the same boat.

SAGA is a 10 bagger if ever I saw one.

As soon as I get the 20 grand back that I have so far lost with the AA it’s definitely a contender!

Looking forward to see what Dimis been up to just to make me feel normal if nothing else. Ha ha

Ok so it’s took Covid for the AA to suspend the dividends (indefinitely?) but the problem is that if there is no bid then the longer they delay renegotiating the outstanding debt the higher interest rates will be in effect cancelling out the benefit of not paying out the dividend.
Have I got that right?

Yeah Stealer I have read about guys losing their pensions on shares and others who are in between houses and gambling and again losing their £. Crazy.
Both mine are safe but my spare £ is in here for sure. The share price was 25p before the bidding came to light which is were it should settle if the bid fails. Also the share price was 60p before Covid and as we can see from the latest results AA hasn’t really been affected so I think the AAs future is bright regardless.

33 sell your soul and pile everything in here at this price IMO. MASSIVE upside and very little downside.

Can I ask a question?
In that link it states that AA was valued at £1.4 Billion.
The Mcap is £165 Million.
Why such a discrepancy?
Apart from the obvious drop in share price since 2014 have parts of the Company been sold off or has there been a share dilution?
The debt was £3Billion in 2014 and now £2.6Billion or thereabouts?

Yes but not as often because he is no longer invested. Best time to get him is at the weekend when we usually open up a thread specifically to discuss other shares.

Yeah AML has certainly taken us on a helluva ride hasn’t it. I’ve always had a couple of 1000 in my wife’s Isa so have never really left but are no longer a believer I’m afraid. Something still draws me back though do we will see. Oh I registered with ADVFN the other day and saw a picture of you know who! Ha ha
