So with a £150M injection of cash the Mcap is worth roughly £27M more? Doesn’t make sense. This Company is so undervalued and the share price should easily be £1.80 right now.

Good morning everybody. Going to be an interesting week. Could be wrong (usually am) but I really don’t think this lockdown will change the Saga share price much. I think hunk we will continue operating in this price range.
LTI funny question but new money from AVCT.
IMO infections are going up because the Genie is out of the bottle and no amount of lockdowns is going to put it back in again. Covid sadly is just something we are all going to have to live with.

Yes rupan I agree tbh it was a bit tongue in cheek. My point was that the lockdown is not necessarily a bad thing for Saga. There might be a little dip tomorrow morning following the ftse but IMO we are quite resilient now at this level and this is not a ramp but I for one will be adding more funds here as soon as I can realistically release them from elsewhere.

The argument goes both ways. The whole point of this ridiculous lockdown to control this even more ridiculous over exaggerated virus is to control and stop it “spreading” so if that works then that’s a good thing isn’t it?
IMO we have backed a winner here guys and all will be good next year.

Sometimes RI work but at the end of the day they are funded by us the PIs and we are diluted by the very fact that we are paying more £ to maintain the same % of the Company.
The problem with the AA is the debt is massive (£2.64BILLION) so we could not put a dent in that so it would be pointless. Also the price would discounted to say 15p and in my experience the share price always goes down to that anyway so lose lose. The AA is profitable so they have no reason to go this route which is why I would be so annoyed. The BOD might do it though just because they can.

Hi Icecool even I do. It’s easy to get a rough idea of what the share price was by simply “dividing the current share price by 15” truth is it’s pretending the HUGE share dilution never took place?

The dilution was 5 for 9.
The consolidation was 15 to 1.

I’m guessing you are wanting to keep dividing the current share price by 15 and pretending that the old price then? No probs but at some point you will realise you are kidding yourself.
The whole lot is confusing that’s for sure and the only way to make sense of it all is to work together.
I think everyone is just fed up with it all here so I will back off with my questions (interrogations!) and just try to fathom it out by myself. No hard feelings.

Hi Angio yes it was different with ODX because they were (and still are) debt free and the money raised was to double the test capacity by purchasing a new test machine and expand the faculties. What a lot of companies are doing now though is doing one to pay off debt or even worse still to keep the lights on. Problem we have here is we won’t know until it’s announced and more often than not it’s too late to sell up.

Smorty with the greatest respect what you have just wrote doesn’t make sense? There is no correlation between the number of shares raised and the (absolute shocking and ridiculous) amount of money the banks charge to “arrange” these schemes/scams.
£1 is a bit low considering we are now fully funded for at least the next 6 months to weather this storm and we also have the luxury of the 100M to draw on AND we reduced short term loans with the £ raised with by the RI.

Everyone is doing them and I just think they are a scam. The very idea of putting your hand back in your pocket and have to pay more hard earned £ for exactly the same % of the Company in shares that you had beforehand is just wrong IMO and should be regulated. To add insult to injury the latest twist is to dilute you by whatever and then “consolidate” the shares back to a little bit more to confuse you and treat PIs as if we are stupid
Hopefully it won’t come to that and we will get a decent offer. If not though I for one will be really pi**ed off if there is a RI.
