Naaa I’m finished with Pharma now I’m only interested in recovery stocks. Frustrated that I pulled out of Saga but like I said before that was not your fault. It was the man in the mirror -me.

I have a really good feeling about the AA and secretly hope that no offer is accepted so we go the refinance route. If so I see £1 in the next 6 to 12 months if not earlier.

Again all IMHO of course.

Could there be some truth in it c26?

Hi NRL sorry I don’t know the answer to your questions I’m afraid. My understanding also is that they need 75% so your first question should be what % is held by PIs? Could they get approval by simply getting the IIs and large PIs to agree?

Even if they do get agreement then I believe there has to be a period of time for counter offers to be put forward.

I’m learning as I go along so don’t take what I have written as gospel.

I would never advise anybody what to do but this is my plan.

If the bid fails and PE pull out (my preferred option) I expect the share price to dip so the MMs can take out stop losses and then rally quickly.

If a bid is accepted by the major shareholders it will have to be good (55p+)
BUT I genuinely think there are other parties in the wings which will make a counter offer 75p+

I bought into the AA as a short term punt but I am not selling any of my (644,809) shares until they hit 100p which I genuinely think they will.

The AA has got massive potential even if no bid materialises IMHO.

Another good point raised over on ADFN is this Petrol/Diesel new car restriction imposed by the Government for 2030 is a plus point for AA.

Hi Bablake none of us actually know for certain what offers are on the table (if any) but we can make an educated guess. I’m only quoting what more experienced investors here are saying because I’m no expert but apparently any offer has to be accepted by I think 75% of the shareholders and the big ones ABC and Coulthard who have substantial holdings have bought their shares at higher than 40p so the offer would have to persuade them to agree and 40p I think is too low. This is the reason the deadline keeps getting extended we think because the offer isn’t high enough. 50 60 79 80 or 90p is more realistic.
Remember though that a no deal is also not a bad outcome next week because this share was 50p before Covid and the last set of results were really good!

I do believe everybody here has brought something to the table though and your total belief in AML throughout has been admirable.

Yes true and also worth remembering is that the AA was sat comfortably 50p+ before Covid.
The last set of results which covered all the lockdowns surprised everybody. They were really good. If there is a bid then it will obviously be higher than the current share price. If there is no bid then IMO this share price (given time) will eventually recover back to where it was in January so back in the 50’s. These are exciting times!

This debt is a stick that everybody hits the AA with but they inherited it at flotation and have always managed it. They have reduced it by I think £750M?
Win win here at the moment IMO at 30p. Even if no bid materialises I think this will go up.

You are a brave man c26 and I have got to admit that this i am in your camp. It’s not a very popular place to be of course and is not going to make you many friends but good on you for questioning what is happening. For sure Stroll will consolidate the shares IMO for the sole reason he can start his dilutions all over again. As you most probably know I sold up and took my £ elsewhere and it was clearly now a mistake! Everyone here is now making money so whatever Stroll and his team are doing it’s working so you guys who held out I have the utmost respect for and a big well done!
