Do you think there's something positive to say about GDR and the way it's been run? Be my guest. I'm all ears. If this stirs into life and gets back to 1.5p I can walk away with about £25k. If it dies a death then I lose £8468 at .5p.

I am still invested here albeit having largely sold out but am hoping against hope that there will be one last flicker of interest but just can't see where it's going to come from. Can you Lionel? Genuine question.

That's from anyone in the world able to buy a UK stock. That's what Gino and Russ have brought GDR to. Just too difficult to believe this destruction of share holder value isn't deliberate I'm afraid. They sit there, do nothing, watching the days go by until the company is on the point of bankruptcy but still refuse to take a penny less in their salaries. I have really tried to see some positives over the weekend and last few days but I honestly can't see anything more realistic than these guys are about to absolutely rinse ordinary share holders and then let the financial situation erode further to the point where eventually they either declare it bankrupt or recommend a derisory buyout sum from a small equity firm (in my humble opinion probably the one owned by the Doctor's involved in GDR's test development) and they walk off with the IP for maybe £1m or less in a distressed sale. I just can't see any other way this plays out. I really hope if I'm right that the FCA will investigate these men.

I am assuming that the directors will have at least engaged by now in communication with Mr N. If he owns 10% of the company and has not sold his steak then I assume he must see or be aware of something that can potentially bring GDR back from the brink. I’m looking for positives here and there aren’t many but perhaps the fact that the share price hasn’t declined further in the last 10 days is a reasonable sign that there may be a way forward?

Either that or bankruptcy. There is no guarantee that even with the share reorganisation and 400 million shares to distribute in an equity placing that anyone will want to put money into GDR given its performance in the last two years and an erosion of share price value Equal to 99.5%

The company runs out of money in another 20 business days or roughly that time, and at the GM the Directors agree to ‘consider’ taking a pay cut….just consider. It’s far too late for that to make any difference and we all know they absolutely won’t accept it. They will look for any alternative to that, including diluting existing share holders to kingdom come before they take a penny less in their monthly pay cheques. I wonder how late they will leave it to solve the funding crisis. Maybe this week they’ll do something. Maybe today!

I’d like to think making money for Peel Hunt wasn’t the top priority for Gino and Russ right now….

The company RNS didn’t deny or confirm anything about timelines either but if they really had no clue when news would be landing they’d just get on with the placing now surely and not run things quite so close to the cliff edge?

Sorry, it didn’t state non-dilutive. My bad. Still, any credible offer should have been investigated by the Directors, esp as they stated in an RNS that they were actively looking at funding options.

I think they will await to see what comes from NHS and NICE before committing to the next move. Mid to late Sept probably means it’s this week to see if it’s more can-kicking or finally some progress can be made with its ‘commercial strategy’ which GDR says it’s been focused on for the last two or three years. It’s in every single RNS and to date they’ve provided very little evidence to suggest they are achieving any sales abroad or in the ME or indeed anywhere else in the UK.

According to Mr N’s post on this bb his alternative proposal for funding was NON- dilutive.

If that turns out to be what they decide to do then great. But they now have the share reorganisation and issue of an extra 40m shares in their back pocket. I wonder if that’s why they wouldn’t speak to Mr N before the GM? Get the Resolutions approved and in the bag and THEN communicate with him to see what the offer might be?

The low vote count does suggest most have written this off but I’m hopeful there might still be one last effort to rescue the company from the brink.

Thinking positively (for once), what could the best possible outcome be from where we are now?

The news from NHS is excellent and hospitals will be given fines to use CYP2C19 from now. That would put a rocket under the share price and hopefully well above 1.5p and then the BoDs cancel the share reorganisation and do a traditional placing at about 1.5p. Announce FDA application WILL be submitted in January 2026. Job done. Could it happen?

Who in their right minds would run a company spending £500k per month for years, whilst knowing they don’t have anything like enough revenue to support that and leave it to the last possible minute to look for funding opportunities? Ladies and gentlemen, may I introduce Gino and Russ.

Interesting. Maybe the Directors have no clue on when this news will land or what it will conclude. It seems they are waiting for as long as possible before committing to the share reorganisation and first placing.
