I wish someone could tweet a message (I don't do Twitter) to DS to appeal for some share holder love to be distributed and to keep people holding on through thick and thin. It's bruising at the moment with all the mm games and BR twatting about with the sp.

It's clearly been going on here for quite some time and is obviously frustrating and maddening in equal measure for genuine holders.

In reading over and over again the line about increasing value for all share holders I have no doubt that's what the EUA BOD are trying to do. It's taking longer than most of us here had hoped but I think things are still going in the right direction. A proposal in writing is for me a game changer as that's exactly what will be required in order for the next steps in any sale process to take place. I just hope we will get another RNS soon that states what that proposal entails and gives us a clearer idea of how much of a special divi we might expect. It's about time the BOD gave us some proper info. On so many fronts it sounds as if the BOD are doing what they can to expedite a sale but the business they are in is a notoriously slow one which requires huge dollops of patience.

The people I really feel sorry for at the moment are those genuine holders who have been patient thus far - not to mention supporting the BOD the recent resolution at the EGM - but now, for other reasons beyond their control, have to sell shares. Spotify is right in that everyone has a different timeline/plan/pain threshold according to their own needs. For someone who has been here years then yes, they may well already have banked plenty of profit, but for those who perhaps came on board within the last six to eight months and have sat tightly holding on to their shares reading that line in every comm from the BOD regarding building value for share holders but now have to sell having seen a 50% drop in the sp over six months that's tough. The ongoing secrecy only causes more speculation and sets the sp up for even more manipulation. It's even harder to defend when all we see as pis is a steady decline in the sp.

Final question from me (for now): can a resolution be added to the AGM agenda regarding a potential asset sale or would that also require 21 days notice?

Thanks RMR. Quite right. I have some EUA shares in an ISA so that’s easy. However, I have a much larger holding in my ordinary funds account. I am very much looking forward to facing that conundrum of whether to sell before a special divi is paid out. Oh the sweet agony of it...

I think I’d be too tempted to cut loose and take the profit and just know it’s safely in the bank after the ride we’ve had. I’ll stick with my very conservative and modest expectations for now as I’ll enjoy being pleasantly surprised far more than mildly disappointed if I set the bar too high. God I like the sound of 70p though...

...EUA sold only Mt for only $2.2b - let's say for the sake of argument £1.5b - that would still represent double the current sp. If there is a divi even half of that value then investors are still lining themselves up for a return of roughly 100%. OK you'd have to pay CGT on that but it's still about 70% of what you have in the kitty at the moment plus you get to keep your shares. DS and co would still see huge rewards plus get to keep their finger in the future EUA pie.

The share price manipulation is brutal at the moment but in looking for crumbs of comfort I too could have sold all of my 2.2m shares in one go earlier today. That's rare and only suggests mms really do need and are willing to go after huge quantities. Why is that? There is money to be made here and even though the sums iis are putting in here are chicken feed for them, they will be confident of good returns. Just gotta try and block out all the negative carp and see things as realistically as possible. For me that means putting out of my head any suggestions of vast pay outs - I thought a buy out figure of $5b could have been possible once upon a time but thanks to the BOD not giving me anything really concrete to base this on was at best a wild hope/dream.

I still, after all the wretched shenanigans with the sp and an overall drop of nearly 50% from the ath, think there is a deal going down here. I'm keeping my feet on the ground however. MT sold for $2.3b, a divi of 25p and hold on to your shares going forward. Who would say no to that right now?

I get that Piface (thank you for the polite response btw) but it doesn't answer the question why the BOD won't release anything specific on resource updates or anything else that could swiftly create some real positivity and upward momentum in the sp. Why do they need to keep it hidden?

I don't need hand-holding. I would just like some balanced and well reasoned debate on why we aren't given any specific info. We're here because we've been deliberately led by the BOD to believe a company sale or asset sale is going to take place. But it's been two years these vague comms have been going on. Unnamed iis coming on board, the AC sell off, NDAs. I would like to have a better handle on why the secrecy is so necessary now that the FSP is over we still have no clue as to any potential buyers or offers. Just that there has been a 'proposal' from a credible party.

I don't want to sell my holding as I'm excited by the potential here . I just want clearer comms with some specific info. Even if it wasn't positive that would at least give us all some reason as to why the sp seems incapable of gettign anywheer near the levels where certain iis came on board eg 38p.

No one here has yet come up with a sensible reason as to why the BOD are withholding up to date information from the market and its own share holders. If we have anything more than the latest update at WK and 1.9m oz at MT then why on earth wouldn't the BOD want to let the world know about it?

I know I'll just get shouted down but there are a growing number of genuine sh here who are concerned with the ongoing lack of proper comms. We've had several good RNSs but, whether one likes it or not, they are laced with 'there might just be some jam tomorrow...or at some point in the future'. The one thing that is consistent about the RNSs is their ambiguous wording. Nothing specific, and that is causing huge frustration here. Trust is a two way thing. When the BOD needed our votes for the EGM we unquestioningly gave support. We deserve now a proper update with clear unequivocal language in an RNS as to what is going on.

If you are one of the many who are totally convinced this is going to end well then I"m delighted for you and admire your confidence and patience. That doesn't give you the right to simply shout down and ridicule other genuine holders like myself, for whom rational explanations as to what is happening with EUA are not coming to light. I'm not a deramper or a shorter but perhaps just a more cautious and nervous (very probably less experienced) investor than those who are consistently positive, despite the sp decline a week or so after every single decent RNS.

Why after the Rosgeo JV announcement have we not seen any gain in the sp at all?? We've gone down since that. Why or how does the wider market not see any value in it?? Some rational posts would help deflate the ridiculous and child like levels of antagonism on this BB and make it a far more useful place to visit for information. There is a lot of good info posted here but one has to wade through a pile of carp in order to find it. Thanks to those who kindly provide insights to ongoing trade situations eg CAW1, Tilly, JT (and a few more) and also to really useful tweets from A1EX and GMF78 (and a few more).

How low could the mms take this?

There seems absolutely no urgency whatsoever from the market to nab EUA shares so actually I’m inclined to agree that any deal is a fair way down the track still... annoying as I’d really hoped this would be done by last September. Many posters here were posting saying it could be any time, any day now, is this the week.... I’m still going for September resolution- just it’s now September 2021 and not 2020. Our BOD are in no rush & this new ‘proposal’ has only been tabled since the Rosgeo JV was announced. DD has to be done etc so I think it’s more of the same with the daily sp shenanigans until the iis have their ars.s covered and feel they just let it ride.

So question is not when will the deal be announced, or how much for, but how much more can the sp be forced down whilst the BOD see fit to keep everyone in the dark on any specifics?

Down to 20p? 18 by end of July? 15p by end of Aug? I’ve been here a while and read more posts than I care to think of that confidently state ‘it won’t go down that far...’ only to see it continually slide south. Even RNSs with huge news haven’t shifted the sp more than 3 or 4p so don’t expect any significant move north in the sp until there’s an RNS starting unequivocally what the company propose to sell, to whom, when and for how much. We’d all better hope that particular RNS has some big numbers in it or this could collapse.

lots of mm games today. According to LSE reporting there were just over £1m of buys today compared with £380k of sells. Look what happened to the sp. Clearly there were some seriously large sells hidden yet again. Patience through gritted teeth needed . bar steward mms. I don't buy the accumulation, accumulation, accumulation story any more I'm afraid. At some point there will be a small rise in the sp for no apparent reason and then the decline with hidden sells will just happen all over again. i get the feeling someone is dumping shares very surreptitiously and mms are helping keeping it obscured. Just my opinion. Enjoy the w/e before we spend another being messed about.

Let's hope so, for all our sakes. I honestly would be chuffed to double my investment here so 30p divi would still be a good result imo.

There are many opinions posted here repeatedly which I whole heartedly agree with which keep my end up, as it were. One such is that the BOD have a huge amount of skin in the game so why wouldn't they go all out for the biggest possible divi and reward themselves handsomely but also keep something back for EUA's longer term future. I'm weary with not knowing what to reasonably expect from my investment here and despite some who suggest I need some hold-handing I think most would expect to be able to make 'informed decisions' on where to invest their funds. And there's the rub. You just can't do that here because of the endless vague and opaque comms which always lead to more speculation. how can you do your own research when you're not told anything specific even after a DFS has been finished and approved. I'm in for over 2 years now and have added as I've gone along so have a significant number of shares (well, to me it's significant) so a good result - 30 to 50p - and I will be very happy. Anything more and I will be ecstatic. This is AIM though and the memory of what happened to poor investors at SXX is still fresh in the memory.

I don't need a nanny or hand-holding thank you. I just need a clear, professional and consistent source of information to be provided by the BOD of EUA as opposed to a long series of RNSs which only ever leave us all scratching our heads wondering what on earth are they going to do or announce next .

Rags - I simply don't know and can only guess very roughly because we've been led to believe there might be much more than 1.9m oz at MT (but confirmation withheld) but...if it's with just the 1.9m oz and nearly half of 75% of what EUA are entitled to with the JV then I suppose you could probably double it but I still think the BOD will hold a lot back for future development meaning no funding would be needed from elsewhere - that deal with CITIC wouldn't be needed. Pure speculation

It is a sell. The sp barely moved despite loads of buys all morning and then wham a massive sell drops in and takes us back to square one. Sound familiar?

pis are being taken for a ride here and there's not much we can do about it. Agree with Judge, just gotta hold for the end result and switch off the daily games and relentless negative psychology being driven at anyone interested in this share.

I assume you don't mean EUZ acquire something else..? They don't have any funds - other than what they need to pay the BOD - no income, and no prospects. the 'high value event' was obviously just waffle and isn't going to happen.

I'm too far in the red here now to make it worth selling so have pretty much written it off. If an offer of 25p per share came out of nowhere I'd be delighted. How many holders here would bit the arm off the BOD if they pulled that rabbit out of the hat?
