I wonder if we had actually applied anyway. The fact that Directors sold when we were £2+ suggests even they were taken by surprise at the huge surge in the sp and couldn't resist taking advantage.

This major announcement is good news for lths as it simply spells the end of a very long nervous and frustrating wait. We've been kept in the dark far too much for my taste and this RNS is absolutely typical in its lack of clarity but hopefully that's all about to end. No excuse now for more opaque comms.

Excited as I am however, I'm not rejoicing just yet. I don't expect an RNS this morning with details on who has offered what etc or else the BOD would just have released all that info either last night or given us all the info and updates this morning in one go. Why announce the end of the FSP last night and then announce all the relevant info 13 hours later. I think there is more to be done before we are offered real meat on the bones.

More waiting I suspect but we can finally see a golden shore in the distance. As for the 'significant dividend', who knows what the BOD might consider 'significant'. 50% of current sp? Again, we're left guessing.
Having been a holder for over 2 years I'm happy to sit it out but I do worry that major holders can now sell with no warning and we would be none the wiser. I guess another suspension would in fact be in our interests as that would prevent such a thing.

As per usual I am waiting patiently for good news, excited but also a little apprehensive. Please BOD, just for once let the next RNS be crystal clear. I don't want anyone to be seriously harmed by the outcome here and find the wanton expressions of joy at other slosing money distasteful in the extreme. but I have no sympathy or time for shorters so if you are a shorter I just hope and pray for your family's sakes you are covered in some way to prevent you - rather more them - losing everything.

Personally hoping for a special divi of £1 but will still be happy if it's 50p and I get to keep my shares.

You could be right Sally. Right now I'd jump at £2 per share. Not a word from DB makes me very suspicious. I suspect he will be absotuley fine though when we are taken over for £1.50 - £2.

Hmmm Grim watching this retrace. Now lost all of my paper profit here and just gone in the red. Pretty much down 50% from the recent high. I knew I should have sold when the Directors sold. Why don't I ever learn?!

Oh well, I'm not going to sell any as I do think this will work out well once we gain access to the Nasdaq, even if the rise isn't nearly as great as some here are predicting. I definitely hope to see £2.80 again fairly soon though.

Blimey, I'd really like this to be over before I die....please? The wait goes on and on...and on.. At least if it does sell any profit in my HL account can hopefully cover my funeral costs. and pay for a decent Wake which would of course include rum.

Bearing in mind the reactions of certain UK politicians to the proposed Take over of BCN by the Chinese company Ganfeng I'm very relieved to think one of the major players in our situation is now a Japanese Consortium. Don't think any one from the Govt would have any objections to EUA being bought out by them. Personally hoping for £1 but would still be seriously happy with anything over 70p. The reason we are all still guessing at the sp is that the BOD simply haven't told the world exactly what it is that we have to sell and so not one of us really has any clue as to fair value. The saying 'fair value is what someone is willing to pay for it' is the bottom line here. We can but hope some Japanese gentlemen think it's worth loads but we've been given such scant info in most respects of what's really going on that it's only hope rather than any kind of belief or conviction on my part. Still can't bring myself to sell though so am here 'til the end.

Manipulation has reached silly levels since BR came on board. There will be some seriously strong and well established connections between them and all of the MMs and so I feel it's BR who have most to gain from the ongoing small ups and downs of the sp. They will undoubtedly have all their positions covered and whether they go up or down I suspect they will be making money. Could it even have been BR who leaned on our Nomad to issue the speeding ticket that wasn't...?

We can have as many approvals as you like but with no sales this is heading back to 40p. It’s grim waiting for news but that’s all we can do. The BC agreement should give at least a little confidence but this is a volatile market at the moment what with of Covid pressures. Anything could happen. Or not happen.

It's been said many times on this BB and it's the key aspect too this company's success: it will only fly if there are sales announced and investors can see revenue being generated. With no sales but excellent products we remain a prime takeover target.

Just one major contract will see this sp on its way upwards. However, before thinking about £12 etc I wold worry about reaching recent highs of £1.50!

Can these land over the next three days or only on trading days ie as of Tuesday?

I'd hope for that too Blw. That or the 250m shares are allocated to the incoming owner at the current rate as a sweetener - they know the full sale price already and will effectively be given a discount on that by holding a huge chunk of shares. Either of these scenarios would make me feel less apprehensive. I'm not yet totally at ease here but I'm getting there. Excellent post from Tigra yesterday at 14:24 was great for reducing the stress levels.

If a full sale is going to happen then the BOD will need share holder approval at the AGM (or another EGM). When/if they recommend an offer then they must give 4 weeks notice (is that correct?) before the result of a vote is announced. If the AGM has to happen by June 30th then that would mean June 2nd becomes something of a deadline to hear news by, although I suppose a full sale could simply be pushed further down the track and we hear nothing.

My gut feeling is things have changed significantly for the BOD after yesterday's vote. Alas, as always, we mere pis will be the last to know exactly how.

The only reason I will be ok with a cash raise is if it's to acquire 100% of MT and WK as I think the only point of that would be to make a full sale totally clean and far less complicated.

Back to hoping...

Wasn't expecting any rockets today (although I didn't expect this drop in the sp either) but those three lines in the RNS answering questions from members was dismissive to say the least, bordering on terse! Do they have to invite questions for an EGM on any resolution being proposed? If not then why bother at all if that's what you're going to say, or rather not say.

Exactly cj62! It would definitely take the sting out of a full sale purchase price of several £b if they could land 250m shares at this price and for ages I was asking why the BOD would content to keep the sp where it is (not that it's totally in their control but they can certainly manage sentiment with positive comms which could easily send the sp rocketing). Now I think this finally, for me at least, is starting to add up. It's a very clever carrot to be wielding once the finish line is in view.

I must, must stop myself from getting too excited, and of course I'm still none the wiser really, but...given we have all been made to guess what's going on for well over a year now I find myself curiously confident that the BOD are indeed rather a clever bunch and have this where they want it. Rosgeo and the Japanese consortium have been massive surprises but make total sense. I'm not surprised if NN are out of the picture owing to their run of bad luck recently but I am surprised that the Chinese aren't in the frame somewhere. And that is where I must stop myself because it's too much for the old ticker to conceive a bidding war between China and Japanese consortium backed by their Govt.

imo I don't believe we'll get anything other than the result of the resolution voted on in the EGM today. The BOD stated this Resolution was to help improve their negotiating position (or words to that effect) so I don't believe we'll jump straight from an affirmative vote today into a final RNS stating how this is all going to play out. Think that could still be a couple of weeks away.

Anyone know the notice period before the AGM the BOD have to ask for share holder approval for a full sale? I don't think they need approval if it's just an asset sale so I guess we'll be able to put another piece of the jigsaw puzzle in if we skip by that deadline (when ever it is) without news of successful conclusion of the FSP.

I'm hoping for a major RNS in another week or two outlining shares being allocated to a Japanese Consortium who will then purchase the whole EUA shebang for....a handsome bounty.

Just clinging on now for news but I do have a feeling we might be none the wiser after Wednesday as to the end game. We'll almost certainly hear the result of that particular resolution everyone is so intrigued by but...the BOD don't have to say anything more do they? If the ducks aren't yet lined up for them the way they want then they will carry on as before; playing their cards very close to their collective chests and we, sadly, will be kept in the dark just a little longer. Just don't want to get my hopes up too much. £1.40 though? Would be flipping marvellous!

This seems to be a big week for EUA share holders. I hope it will finally put an end to the endless speculation and conjecture we've been forced to employ as LTHs. It is time our BOD made it clear which direction they are going and what's on the table. No more opaque comms please. Just clear and positive indication of which direction we are heading would be much appreciated. My thoughts on likely outcome keep shifting - owing to the NDAs and lack of comms - but I'm leaning back towards a sale of some sort because surely by now the Take Over Panel would have nudged EUA for a reason as to why the FSP is taking so long. I'm hoping there has been a watchful eye cast in EUA's direction and that reassurance has been received that things are still progressing in a positive direction. I had thought an asset sale was more likely but I just don't know. There is still a small part of me that hopes for a full sale. That would be so amazing and life changing for me, as many others I'm sure.

At one point I held 4m shares but...I started buying about two years ago and kept adding, especially after the false drop from 4p to 2p and also after the long suspension. I’m not on a free ride by any means (sadly) but am sitting on a healthy paper profit having sold some on the way down from the highs. I did exactly the same with Bacanora Two years ago so still haven’t learned my lesson to take profit when the sp is surging. This time I’m in a good position but by no means immune to potential loss, hence my nervousness at not really knowing what to expect. I’m hopeful but won’t allow myself to get too excited just yet...
