Not sure 'the big one' is ever going to arrive now. I do think there will be an asset sale of WK and Mt but I've got the feeling - and that's all it is - that DS is going to find it impossible to resist using much of the sale price to fund the new potential riches now within his grasp thanks to the recent JV with Rosgeo. I agree with some posters here that some of the current BOD may prefer a full buy out of EUA as they wish to retire or move on to other projects but they are businessmen and if there's a good chance their money will grow significantly in the next 5 years without them having to do anything ie leave the work to DS and James N whilst some retire/put their feet up, then I reckon DS will be able to persuade them to accept a really healthy price for WK and MT - maybe even as much as $5b - offer them a handsome pay out by way of a special divi of about 20 - 30p. The EUA sp would drop but now with the new venture in place i suspect nothing like as much as some think. The value of this special divi and a reduced sp may result in current shareholders still being either better off, or at least no worse off than they currently are but leave them with their significant stakes in EUA untouched, knowing they are likely to rise massively over the next 5 years. I am convinced all the resources from WK, MT and the new venture will be used in the tokenisation plan DS has going with Lybrion too and this is possibly why things have taken so long. He doubles his money if he can get his hands on massive resources and then have utilised by Lybrion.

Having tossed these ideas around over these last few days I've decided to hold for a bit longer, feeling confident I won't lose out. One's biggest decision is whether or not to miss out on other potentially fruitful options whilst waiting for mist to rise on the EUA FSP cloak and dagger machinations. The lack of clarity is of course largely down to NDAs but it certainly hasn't helped build sentiment, an essential ingredient for any share to rise in the AIM casino.

It's all an opinion so doesn't need to be shot down thanks, but to me it makes more sense for the likes of BR slowly and surely building a stake in EUA rather than the more fanciful notion of making a quick buck thanks to an outright buy out. If it was that simple and that likely then the buying pressure for shares would be overwhelming and MMs would not stand a cat in hell's chance of controlling it the way they are currently managing to.

Back to 27p tomorrow? I'm staggered at the reaction today. Clearly many people sold and so made it easy for the MMs to play their games. But that's not my biggest worry.

I am now resigned to my gut reaction on Friday playing out. FSP announced for sale of WK and MT and that we get a 'special' divi of about 15 or 20p (even if the price is several b$) saying the majority of the money must be used to make the most of this new JV and what an amazing opportunity it is. Basically they will present a case of 'loads of jam tomorrow' and we could end up being stuck here for another two years.

I had little confidence in AIM to begin with but this has confirmed my worst fears. The wider market won't go near this. I wonder why? I don't feel like watching any more of my paper profit disappear so will be cashing in my chips.

Despite the lack of clarity on what the heck is on the cards for EUA and its FSP, there are two things that are undeniable. Firstly, that we have a truly exceptional BODs. They make the vast majority of BODs AIM company look like clowns or at worst, crooks. Secondly, the value of the resources EUA now has within its grasp/control has I suspect more than doubled in one RNS. That no one had the slightest inkling this RNS was about to drop should leave no one in any doubt that they don't really have a clue as to how this will play out. Every single opinion is just that, an opinion, pure conjecture, and the same goes for everything I have either written or thought regarding EUA. But boy it's fun opining on this share!

Actually, what is also undeniable is that I personally am hugely excited by the prospect of what might happen to the sp tomorrow. I'm in quite deep here so if it gets to 50p I shall be asking my wife to send me out on errands all day long to avoid hitting the sell button. I'm getting on now - well retired - and so for selfish reasons would love to see a full sale and be in a position to help my family and others, especially after what everyone has gone through these last 12 months. Where the sp might get to tomorrow has me feeling like a child on Christmas Eve.

Just so I don't feel left out here's my h'penny worth. Unless everything is revealed tomorrow at 7am in a big beautiful RNS, I expect there to be a re-rate of sorts - difficult even for the pro analysts to know where this is going though - and then for the sp to slowly rise throughout the week as more details emerge - and hopefully they will. I believe share holders have been extremely patient after that early assault by the MMs when the sp reached 4p, the suspension, and then subsequent months of smoke and mirrors from MMs to allow iis to get a foothold in EUA. If I had any hair it would have been torn out long ago. If we were to get to the lofty heights of 50p in just one day (just shy of 100% increase) then I can finally start to dream of Rowka's £3.50 being in the right kind of ballpark.

Come on Santa Suschov, get those big, bad, Russian reindeers revved up and let them fly.

Surely there has to be another RNS to clarify at least some of this. I'm confused.

Personally I'm feeling disappointed as I wanted a straight forward sale. Now I can see WK and MT being sold and the money for that being used to pay for the JV with Rosgeo. Even the money from the Sinosteel agreement wouldn't come close to covering EUA's costs to get that 104Moz out of the ground. Pay as you go sums it up and unfortunately I can see the BOD not being terribly generous with a special divi for the sale of the other two assets either. Am I being too downbeat?

I wish a serious analyst in this sector would post something that explains the likely implications.

Sorry guys, I can't get excited about this just yet. We've clearly got another while to wait to know what it really means for us.

I thought DB looked pretty relaxed really. And why shouldn't he! Why should he fret or speak with any excitement or passion about GDR? He consistently under delivers, under performs and even repeats Investor Presentation material almost verbatim (he's obviously very good at these judging by the impact today's is having on the sp) and for all of this he is rewarded with a handsome £400K a year. I'd say he's pretty chilled. I guess he's sitting there thinking how much more might be able to get his grubby paws on were the company to actually do well! But then again, why go to all the trouble and stress of making a success of GDR when he can put his feet up, watch the company lose over 50% of its value in a fortnight, say a few words to attract new investors - who I'm sure, having witnessed this morning, will be falling over themselves to buy shares - and know that his pay packet will duly arrive in his bank account whilst genuine share holders have seen over half the value of their investments go down the pan.

This guy needs to go. How can it be done? No one will convince me he is the best man for the job and that there isn't someone out there who could do better.

This all leaves a very bitter taste in the mouth.

What on earth do you think he can say that will be positive? He has no information that will be price sensitive, so no sales figures, no contracts, nothing on FDA or EUA, nothing. i don't think he could even announce a potential Take over bid from BC. The only thing two things he can say are a) jam tomorrow and b) a placing is booked in for next week.

I fear this is heading back to 40p. One for the bottom drawer, which has a rusty old lock on it, and I've lost the key anyway.

Please BC put us out of our misery and buy us for £1.50 per share.

..with my entire pf being down I'd happily take a 100% premium of where we are now. As I've said before, if the FSP does conclude successfully the sp will start to rise with no explanation. That will be the starting gun. If we end up getting back to 40 - 45p and there is then an announcement then I think this could well go for 80 - 100p. As it is now, if those NDAs remained watertight and we had no inkling, then I reckon we're looking at a full buy out for possibly 60 - 70p max. NO way is it going to jump by 400 or 500%+ That's just for dreamers. I would be ecstatic if I turn out to be wrong. Just gotta keep hold of these bloody shares . Every time someone sells the MMs will be doing the iis bidding and they will always beat independent sellers. That's just how it is.

BC now have GDR right where they want it: on the floor and needing some kind of a result urgently. There will be plenty of share holders calling for DB to do the honourable thing and walk the plank but I don't see him doing that. He's got the gall to make a presentation tomorrow after this bloodbath. Says something about his tenacity, if not his judgement. My money is now on a Take over where DB is guaranteed a position with BC (and a shed load of their shares) for delivering GDR to them on a plate. For how much? Who knows. £1.60 per share? Just mho. Frankly, right now I'd take that and run for the hills as there's not a cat in hell's chance DB can pull anything off from here without serious outside help. His reputation has taken a big hit today and he has made GDR a traders paradise with all the violent sp swings offeringjJam tomorrow...oh no, sorry, I meant jam tomorrow, no, hang on wait, make that tomorrow....

Actually tomorrow will come, as will the presentation. What on earth can he say though to make things better if he's already made it clear there won't be anything price sensitive on his agenda? No, he couldnt' could he? No, not a placing, surely. Actually, I wouldn't put it past him.

If EUA does end up selling for a 300 or 400% premium then the iis would have plenty of profit from their investments here to put towards a stake in Lybrion. I think it was said by someone at some point that Lybrion were only interested in iis coming on board with a minimum stake of $250k. What better way to guarantee those iis coming on board at the outset for Lybrion by a word from DS in the ear of a few well placed contacts in some iis (eg BR) letting them know of this easy opportunity to make the required stake money?

OK so I'm really bored with waiting for news on the FSP and now dreaming up all weird kinds of s...te to try and explain why the sp is kept at what many on this BB consider a very undervalued level. If we're going to sell for 3, 4 or even 5 billion pounds then surely it would be perfectly reasonable to see the sp at 50p? Apologies all, I'm back on my old hobby horse of why/how it can be in EUA's interests to keep the sp low.

MMS treatment of this share looking dodgy in the extreme. PEEL are as murky as any so no great surprise this is happening. They’re definitely trying to mask something so it’s just a case of sitting on your hands if you can possibly bear it.

I’m also in EUA and compared with the trickery going on there - for well over 6 months - this is easy !

And if it’s not EUA’s mining plan for WK then that implies we’re being sold lock, stock and booming barrel. Did I really just say that?! Been spending far too much time reading this BB....

I think that's definitely feasible but the idea was discussed in the early and middle stages of the FSP. IMO I think that's a very reasonable and fairly straight forward deal to organise isn't it? So I'm not totally convinced that particular option would have caused the lengthy delay in getting a deal over the line.

Certainly not dismissing this as NN have always been the hot favourite but my gut feeling is the notion of a Consortium involving organisations from different countries is still the most likely cause of the delay. The complexity and legal requirements of putting together a deal along these lines would I think take ages, especially with some pandemic-induced restrictions.

What ever happens GLA. I've chosen tomorrow as being 'the date' so will be up bright and early, ready to be disappointed yet again at about 7.01am... No seriously, it's going to be tomorrow.

I hear what you're saying about positive RNSs being released and then sp declines but more often than not that's the market having seen what's on the horizon and the second news is confirmed there's a sell off. What ever happens here though I don't think £1.20 - £1.50 prices in anything like the potential, so it's as 'safe' as it can be given we're dealing with the AIM....

Can’t quite believe what I’m seeing but we’re about to go red. Even with low volume surely a rate of buys to sells of almost 2:1 would generate some kind of incline.

I have stated here that I'm sceptical of a take over price at a premium of something like 400 - 500% or more. However, I can't help but agree with many posters here that UBS, DLA, CITIC, the Nomad and iis wouldn't be hanging around if the TO price was just a couple of £b. I agree that the sale would have gone ahead and quite some time ago too. It's all very intriguing and coupled with the mms games makes for a nervy experience (for me at least) holding shares in EUA.

Laugh or mock me, I care not, I think that somehow there will be a sign to mms and iis that we're in the red zone time-wise and that they should get there bets placed. When this happens there will be a quick and large rise in the sp to something like 50p and then, shortly afterwards, an announcement will be made that the TO price is at a premium of about 200% and we're looking at £1.50 per share.
