Kicking myself as this seems as clear as day that there’s a plan for this and even the current directors are in favour of withdrawing the request to wind things up. Good article HH. Sadly this is exactly what GST failed to gain access to very recently. Not sure why or how anyone sees it as a positive that this article comes out and highlights GST being found wanting in meeting the requisite criteria for admission. Same old rampers going on ad nauseam with stupid predictions of 10p. I may have been wrong about dropping further but the sp is only at 0.7p after all the excitement of this it week. Fully expecting the sp to continue its drop back to something more like realistic value this week.

Indeed Garonne. To quote Budd from several years ago regarding sales of Covid PoC kit…’ the numbers add up dramatically’. Only they didn’t and there were never any signed contracts. I suspect Budd may have received a warning from FCA as the sp shot up over £1.50 but they never sold more than £50k worth in any six month period. It was clearly meant to spike the sp and many became trapped as the long decline began thereafter. All the way down to 8p. It’s utterly grim for lths who believe in the products that we have to contend with lies as well as just poor management. At least no comms isn’t lying so things have improved in that respect.

FDA news and confirmation of DEVOTE funding are the only things imminent and can reverse current downward trend. Only 3 hospitals using AIHL after nearly 4 months since conditional recommendation received from NICE means NHS roll out is far slower than any would have expected and indicates sales in territories abroad are also much further away than anticipated.

Not given up hope just yet but feeling fairly low on confidence in this getting back to the 20s anytime soon. Sincerely hoping the sp does NOT drop below 10p but Budd is clearly unable to offer up anything to the market to restore investor confidence just now. GLA lths

As long as it takes to find a buyer. Clearly the BODs have been lying repeatedly about DD etc as there is still no buyer lined up. Not even any negotiations.

Another worrying article in the FT about UK business bring either trapped or nationalised by Putin. EUA is done imho and there will never be a sale, or rather not one that benefits uk share holders. Probably a Chinese company will buy it and Rosnedra will pocket any cash offered up.

I am sure they will get some tax credits and other funding but absolutely no idea how much. You clearly stated you think it’ll magically amount to two to three years worth of funding based on wishful thinking. Monthly cash burn is £400k so to be funded until the end of 2027 they need about £20m +.

If you’re looking for fact dodging then look in the mirror mate. Finger-in-the-air calculations based on imaginary figures are fine if that’s how you wish to operate but posting those on this bb as facts is misleading and simply wrong.

Even if I’m the highly unlikely event DEVOTE funding was announced as £2m per year for the next two years the sp would not get that high.

I’m hoping it might be as much as £1m per year but I know that’s ambitious. That would see us surge back into the mid 20s imv as RF cd then employ a far more supportive strategy to GDR to get their ‘pound of flesh’. Budd is no ‘wise Daniel come to judgement’ But hopefully even he cd sit down with them with that funding in his back pocket and help devise a better plan of action going forward from here.

I am not expecting anything on sales anywhere as I’m afraid I believe they’re almost non existent. Also other funding options just not going to happen. Just wishful thinking and was stated by the BOD as more possible jam.

Strategy has definitely been misguided, agreed.

Priority now is to try and reduce the monthly cash burn - and 45 staff for a company that generates almost zero income? C’mon! Trim the fat, curtail the bonanza CEO and other directors salaries and halve the costs. Stop all development on other assays until some traction is gained on AIHL and CYP2C19.

What ever happens I think there is still one major spike left here before it either goes bust or gets sold. That will imho begin slowly end of Sept/early Oct and reach fever pitch by mid December. Things will look very different and the posts here will be mostly rampy in the extreme. Can’t wait

Disagree Franky, unless it’sRF who want to buy GDR on the cheap. RF want to see a major return on their investment and the best way for them to achieve that is by helping GDR sp rocket at some point. They won’t let it be sold off for very little and neither would all the other lths here. It would never be approved imv

More meaningful however is that we only have another 7 trading days in July in which to hear of positive news regarding the FDA fast track application. Remember, we were told we’d only hear if there was good news. Currently looking like the US market not going to be open for us for at lest two years for AIHL and probably longer for CYP2C19. Just one miserable episode after another from Budd. A litany of failed objectives, missed deadlines and empty promises. Welcome to GDR. The company with so much potential. Really sorry folks but if there’s no FDA news before end of July the sp will drop further and we may after all see sub 10p again. Staggering performance from the senior management of the company.

I do hope more people will vote Budd out at the next AGM. Too many clung to his jam tomorrow missives last time. He’ll start peppering us with them again in Sept but this time investors need to look more closely at the pattern over the last three or four years and vote for change. We got close last time and it was a warning shot but unfortunately we’ve seen absolutely no improvement in comms or progress on any sales front in any territory - apart from the 3 hospitals note using AIHL in the Greater Manchester area- so imho we MUST find someone better at engaging with the investment market and who has some clue on how to commercialise products in this sector.

Got £2k in this. Got a feeling it’s about to disappear down the pan though…

Interested to hear what is said in response alamo and Tks for writing. I have emailed in the past but never had a response - and my emails have always been polite even if my opinion of the CEO is somewhat bleak.

I think the deal with RF was the only one Budd cd get and actually think it would have worked well for everyone had the two elements Budd pointed out were needed had actually come to fruition, namely good daily liquidity (so RF cd dump their initial 6.5m shares and get the new allotment at a higher price) and the flow of positive news. Unfortunately neither has played out for Budd and the company and its share holders. Hence we’re now becoming increasingly worried as to how RF will play this. It’s in their interest to get the sp as low as possible for when they apply for the new shares to make up the financial shortfall they experienced by selling 6.5m shares and it not amounting to £2m (plus costs etc). These new shares can be sold when they like on the open market and will nit be liable for any recourse to GDR. The positive in all of this is that it equally in RF’s interest for the sp to soar as high as possible for them to make the most profit further down the line.

Big question for me is how far are they prepared to drive the sp down in order to get the new shares within the nominated % of the 5 day moving VWAP. Will they squeeze us really hard all the way to sub 10p? Will they wait until we have figures for DEVOTE funding and then sell the rest of their initial 6.5m tranche into a small rise and THEN go for the drop?

Am I just being hopeful or does anyone else think this is what will happen? Pose don’t respond if you’re just going to say it’s going to hit 50p by the end of the week because the sp was once that high a year or two ago…

Budd just stays silent whilst all share holders - whom he is very grateful to and supposedly came and posted on this very bb to express his thanks for their support and loyalty (what a load of blx) - are watching their investment in the company he runs wither and disappear.

May I remind people the Chairman himself stated in an RNS that the company would be reaching out to engage with share holders to better understand the reasons why so many voted against the CEO's salary being reinstated going forward. Unless I've missed a missive or two (I haven't) then they haven't said one syllable on the matter since. The only time they reached out to share holders was when he needed to get this death spiral finance deal approved. Oh and how he has rewarded us since. the one single bit of news we've had since then was regarding the DEVOTE funding and even that didn't mention any figures. The sp seems to drop on any news that lands, positive or otherwise, and so there is no way GDR can attract new investors. get real. If anyone does even a basic level of research and looks at the performance of the company stock over the last 3 years then they'll run a mile before putting money into this.

We just have to wait for Budd to get off his backside and deliver something. He has form in going under ground for 6 months at a time so my money is actually on us not hearing from him again until around October or November and even then it may well be to say that RF need to lend us even more money as he doesn't seem to be reining in the monthly spend at all!

I really hope this doesn't hit 10p again but you've got to say it's now looking very likely the way things are going and the deafening silence from the CEO. We're down to 14p from the 40s so who would bet against it dropping by just another 4p?What an utter disaster he is. Gets £25k per month for running the company into the ground and the arms (fins?) of a glorified loan shark. Well played that man! It will all turn around eventually but that will be more to do with RF manipulation as and when the time comes they want the sp to rocket, rather than there is actually some positive news.

With regard to sales, as I've said a few times before, I have a feeling Budd and his team aren't even really attempting to get sales going as they all hope the company will be bought before they need to show they can sell anything.
