RE: Volume24 Jul 2023 15:23
Every stock I've held in the last 5 years that goes to OTC trading in the US ends up doing badly. If it's a doubted stock here in the UK then the US market, being far more savvy, will not be fooled into buying.
BOD are starting to chase shadows here and that's a worrying sign. Said for ages the IPOs have done nothing and got mullered for saying it. But they haven't. It's just dispersed what little inherent value there is in the POW stock.
Agreed that they need to discover something rather than constantly shift the furniture to try and see if the market takes a more favourable view when seen from a different angle. It doesn't. The market conditions are of course largely to blame. This is a frighteningly risky sector at the moment and for all PJ's talk of the market turning there is absolutely no sigh of that happening any time soon.
In the short term they should sell MFC to gain some serious wedge which they can then put into a more promising prospect. Tati? Of course they stated they were in discussions with a possible party over MFC, which, if true, would be great, but again the market hasn't bought that line at all. If MFC really did have massive potential and the recent work had at least uncovered some of that potential then those discussions would be progressing quickly. We've heard nothing and so I'm assuming it was just waffle to try and let the air out of the balloon slowly having spent so much on last year's drilling campaigns. they were expensive and produced zero for the company. Not only that, the results damaged credibility in the geological abilities of company individuals. How could they get it so wrong that they found absolutely nothing? Doesn't inspire confidence for them looking anywhere else really does it?!
Sell MFC for what ever they can get for it and at least improve the cash position. Even if they could only get a couple of £m that would be better than their current monthly spend and no imminent prospects with which they could try and generate some sentiment.
