I don't know how it's been for the rest of you, but the last couple of weeks i wish i had all of my money in a bank account, I've been losing money everyday on the stock market, let's hope it all settles down after the US elections and hopefully Trump doesn't get in and rock the boat even further

Hi strictly, yes an average investor annual return of 3.4%. sounds about right, which is not bad but not amazing either, but if you choose another start date like 3 years ago it would look a lot different, not saying this is a bad investment guys, but it's just been disappointing the last few years, i hope will improve, now compare those figures with some of lgens international funds, such as legal & general international index over the last 5 years and you would be showing a growth of around 80% , but it's what happens in the future that matters

Lending, I have no interest in daily share price movements, just take a look at the charts, it been going down hill since Jan 2022 when it was over £3, this is by far my largest share holding and i do hope it changes direction, but let's be honest it's performance has been disappointing the last couple of years, don't get blinded by the dividend payments, most of my tracker funds have out performed this over the last 5 years, let's hope we see an improvement in the share price before April, when i will take a look at it's performance again

You are forgetting one thing though that shouldn't be ignored, it also has the potential to continue dropping lower as it's been doing since January 2022 when the share price was over £3, there is no guarantee that it will start rising anytime soon,

time will tell, let's see where we are by next April exdiv

Agree with that report, most are just trying to recover losses here, except those who bought more recently, two chances coming up the possibility of good interim results and the merger if it happens, don't go counting your profits just yet, we live in hope
