Hi Dan, yes yesterday was disappointing and we just have to accept it, but not unexpected knowing Germany is in a recession, inflation/wars/ etc. i don't know if the CEO is doing a terrible job or whether she is doing a good job despite the falling sp, so i will keep an open mind about that, to be honest none of my UK shares have been doing well lately and my best returns have been from my US and international funds, but let's hope 2025 will be more rewarding year for Vodafone and all UK shares for all of us

Garonne, no offence mate but your sounding like one of my old scratched vinyl records, Margherita is not going anywhere in a hurry and i can't see changing CEO again will make any difference this is a cut throat business and everyone wants the best deal for their phone and broadband, hopefully better times on the stock market next year

Stockpig, the buyback argument has been going on for years on the Lloyds board and many others, I've yet to see any improvement to the share price due to buybacks, they have to take money out of the company to pay for the buybacks

Cheapsharesboy, all of the insurers have been down lately, aviva/lgen/phnx, hopefully Trump will put an end to these wars and we will get a Santa rally, i'm much more confident about this share than i am about Vodafone, providing there's no cut in dividend fingers crossed that we will see £2.40 plus by next years exdiv

StrictlyZinc, although i have previously expressed my disappointment about the declining share price here over the last few years, this is still my largest share holding, and like yourself i have been adding some more at these low prices hoping we will see this back around £2.50 by next April, but i'm not sure you can go by it's cyclical past, as these are unprecedented times of high inflation and interest rates plus the World is in a bit of a mess with all the Wars etc, but i do hope you are right about your predictions, and should it take a longer to get there providing there's no cut in the dividend, i will be happy to hold longer term and take the income

RE: OFCOM are dictating BT's wholesale pricing, that's a laugh i have my broadband/phone with BT, trust me they are already one of the most expensive suppliers, if they increase their prices anymore they won't have many customers left

The biggest problem at the moment is the World is in a bloody mess, so not a great time for the stock market's and not helped by the last budget, let's hope Trump can put an end to these wars and not fuel them
