Fred & csdi, your welcome guys, and thanks for taking part and everyone else, csdi, i was thinking of giving myself an award for being the biggest underachiever, just can't win it myself, and have been holding back from topping up on any shares, until two days ago, then decided to top up on dlg and phnx, and guess what yesterday they both took a big hit about 12 percent on dlg and 5 on pheonix

can i share your id mate, not going to be selling vod, but think mole is right about good prospects with psn for the future,
maybe i should have topped up on vod instead as it's the only one holding up at the moment, strong possibility for it to grow perhaps

Still in positive about Vodafone Dan, can only see it going higher, has been holding up very well against all the turmoil that's been going on, it's just my other shares that are takiing a beating, had a 15 percent drop with directline yesterday,so don't worry, i am still vod top ramper at the moment::-)

Don't think we have anything to worry about with this one, but dlg is another story, toop a big hit yesterday

Always happy Gary, but struggling with the share optimism at the moment after some big hits, but as Fleccy and mole say there will be some good investing opportunity's, in the near future hopefully, just don't think that time has arrived yet

not a good day for insurance or financials today, I'm also with direct line which took a 11.6% drop today, not convinced there will be any special dividend, in fact i will be pleased if only the current div is not reduced the way things are going

Mole, not sure it's a good time to buy anything yet, it's like anything else, if you can get that timing right you can do well, get it wrong and it will just take you down with it, so when are these bottom prices going to be, judging by the way everything is going down, i think we are a long way off yet, and think it's going to be a very very bad time for investors for several months to come yet, at least that's the way it's going for all of my shares, don't know about yours or the rest of you guys ?, just hoping the dividends will not get reduced or cut

Robina, just my normal bad luck at buying, usually drops the next day, just hope the dividends hold up, as that was my reason for topping up, best of luck, hope you time it better than myself

warthog, he probably hasn't , but sounds like you may have ?, so which is looking the most prosperous of the two ?, I'm with both and two solid shares in my opinion, one thing i will say is lgen paid dividends in full during the Pandemic, and aviv did not, not sure which has the most growth potential, but two good dividend payers

Not bad at all Pacino, all my other shares are taking a good old bashing down, and vod is looking bullet proof at the moment, let's hope it will continue and push upwards, just makes you think what will happen from October when they say energy bills will double, quite scary ?

Good evening all, might get a few late' ones, but i think most of the predictions are in, It's been a right old roller coaster with the markets lately, so let's hope they all go in our favour this week, and a new high for Vodafone would be very welcome

Hi Dan, totally get that bit, my investment here is part of my pension , ideally i would like a return of at least 5-10% without loss of capital, obviously i have not achieved this with Vodafone due to loss of capital, this of course was down to buying it at too high a price, but of course i wasn't expecting that drop or for the share price to stay down for so long, but the best i can say is the dividend is giving me a better return than the bank, and that i am hopeful that the share price will rise from here, by how much i don't know, if i was convinced there was no hope at all of any improvement in the sp, then i would just sell up right now, if only we could predict the future, nothing anyone says on here is going to affect the share price, I'm sure everyone is fully aware of that, personally i would prefer to be friends with everyone on here, i don't think anyone likes all the bickering, but most of us are guilty of it sometimes, but Monday is a new week, and hopefully a good one

Thanks Dan, and to all that took part in the sp challenge, we all know it's just for a bit of fun, and mostly to get everyone to take part, so as long as you guys keep posting it, i will keep publishing it, if that's the right word, was a bit like the wild west on here last week, bows and arrows flying around everywhere and virtual punches to see who could inflict the most virtual pain on each other, just another week on the vod forum eh, never mind the sp was holding up well, and I'm sure we will all shake hands and start again, we just need to slip a bit of gin in Mikey's tea, so he will start feeling the force again
