CSDI, don't you go going anywhere, we need good non bullsh*t genuine posters like you, as for Dan & Mikey, I wouldn't waste your concerns there mate, both good guys, but Mikey just keeps on antagonising Dan to get a response and then Dan responds, and it goes on and on, they both need a kick up the butt

Hi Trek, sounds like a good strategy ( only buy what you are prepared to hold long time), agree there has been some good buying opportunity's of late as long as funds allow of course and have also been pooling all my dividends together and using them to buy or top up shares that are trading at a discount, trying to find that bottom price though is an impossible task for me, biggest problem is shares that were purchased before pandemic and before this inflation war etc. so some will just have to remain in the red until we see some sort of economy recovery, thank goodness for shares similar to phnx that are continuing to pay full dividend in the mean time
You seem to be doing well with you buying an selling also, so well done for that, something i have come unstuck with

TrekMadone , you seem to be pretty unique, most people i speak to seem to be in the red right now with most of there shares, you must be very lucky to buy low and sell high on everything, or very very good, well done for that

Yes some weeks are a bit funnier than others Soton, if only we knew which way things would go, then we could all make a bag full of money, maybe a bit of an overreaction panic selling perhaps, it was a good for my portfolio as a whole but what's good one week maybe bad another

I think this will come back good pacino, for me i just hope the dividend holds up, the same as with all my other dividend shares, I'm a little more greedy i want to see this back to £3, before a sell

Personally i would need to see a lot of stability here before thinking about buying in, think Gary had a good point about the recession, don't underestimate how low this one can drop, but not saying it will

It was a very good day for me Mikey as all of my shares were up apart from Vodafone, especially my biggest holding Lloyds, that had a good results day, but they all have their up and down times, the big question for me is whether to sell up my Vodafone shares or top up when they have bottomed out whenever that may be, alternatively possibly just do nothing as it may not be as bad as you think, don't think anyone can give an answer to that one

Mole, we see you as a challenge, the challenge is to try and prove you wrong, but you seem to be winning at the moment, but we have not given up, well not completely :-)

It does all seem a bit extreme Dan, as we can't tell what's around the corner, i did put that really badly to cheapshares, but i really was just pulling his leg, and i can see how it could have been taken the wrong way, so sorry for that cheap, i think a lot of people have been influenced by other posters at some time or other though, especially if your new to investing, including myself, that's why i like to listen to everyone's views rampers and the derampers, but ultimately you always have to make your own decisions
will be interesting to see which way this will go in the next few days

Robina, i like your honesty mate, as we know not all shares live upto our expectations, but just hold on there, when things settle i expect inflation to push up the share prices, but we will have to be patient for a while

Dan, I think you know i do have a plan B for this share, but was hoping i wouldn't have to pull it out of the bag, but right now, is it acceptable then, to say sack nick and the board of directors, only joking mate, it may be true though ?
