oaklodge, well we have certainly had some events over the last few years, brexit,pandemic,war etc, so what are you saying, don't bother? or do you have a good strategy for getting through these eventful times ?

LoggyLogbot, I get what your saying, i was just being a bit of a misery seeing a big drop after i topped up, my average is below 250, so not worried about this one at all, I'm sure it will sort itself out and hopefully get back to £3 sometime, and great dividend

Pacino, dlg is yieldind near 12 percent, and when increase premiums kick, in think it will turn around, but there's always a risk of further drops div cuts etc. sorry for going off topic i don't know the answer to moles question, maybe someone else does

Steve305, well I won't dissagree with your observation, my timing is terrible, I've done with swapping and changing, just try and lower my average when an opportunity arises, but there's always another big drop around the corner after i do a top up, just have to hold and hope for a recovery, just hope the dividend holds up

Just too big a loss to sell at these prices, will just have to sit it out, has just been one thing after another since 2020 Pandemic, what next total stock market crash ? nothing would surprise me anymore

well in hindsight, i would have sold the lot last week instead of adding, just got to grin and bear it now folks, and hope that dividend keeps coming in, these shares can drop in a minute, but take a long time to come back, sorry to sound like a doomster I'm just being realistic

Yes i agree, all share prices are dropping, so for now, it's the survival of the fittest, of which will continue to pay the full dividend, whilst we are waiting for recovery

Morbox, I have several dividend shares, dlg,mng,lgen,phnx,aviva,vod, and been thinking they will be given their stress test during these bad times inflation etc. and so far dlg has been the weakest link, maybe others to follow perhaps, difficult times I'm afraid , just hoping all the dividends keep coming in

Morbox, and i topped up recenty before these drops, so hurts even more, so agree keep in bottom draw and forget about it, just as long as the dividends coming, will ease the pain

With all prices going up due to inflation, won't that make the sp rise as well ?, i know people will cut down on non essentials such as netflix , but people will still have to insure their cars, and the younger people i work with would give up eating and heating before they would give up their phones, house prices are going into reverse, but share prices there are very low right now, so expect there will be some winners and losers, will leave you experts to decide
