Cheapshares, thanks for that,wanted you to get involved with that and give your reasons, and agree with you on to those points, to my horror i watched this share drop all the way down to 103 after exdiv last year, but now seems to be holding up strong, so let's hope it can now continued upwards

I have to agree with all of that, i am holding some cash on my account for a while, as I'm anticipating further drops, not just with lgen but most of my shares, there's nothing we can do about the current situation, other than trying to top up at a discount price and trying to lessen the impact

Hi Ken, yes i did sell psn before exdiv and i think it was a good call at the time, for all the reasons you stated, reduction in mortgage applications, inflation interest rises, possible reduction in house prices etc, and because i thought i could put that money to better use in the short term, but do think there will always be a demand for new houses, and once i think the share prices have bottomed out, i think there maybe a good opportunity there for growth and good dividend returns, will be keeping a watch on psn persimmon and bdev Barret developments
well done for holding on and compounding on Vod, just need some good news to come through to bump up the sp here
My decision making is often questionable and a 50/50 chance of getting it right ,so please don't any advice from me though

Seaking1, this one had it's stress test during the Pandemic, and you know what, it payed out the full dividend all the way through and soon got back up to £3, my Lloyds shares paid me zero dividends and the share price is still nowhere near pre Pandemic price, the choice is yours ?

cheapshares, an excellent dividend yield here at the current sp i think, also lgen and dlg plus phnx may be worth a look, could drop further of course, but same applies with all shares at the moment, good luck what ever you decide

Gejgaboy, if you're topping up at a lower price that's a good thing as your making an improvement, i want to do the same, but where is this going next up or down, if only we knew, over to you cheapsharesboy, i know you think it's going up and we. All want you to be right, maybe you can share your thoughts on it

Well we all want vodafone share price to rise and the same with tesla, but the reality is, we just don't know, i am a big fan of dividends, and compounding, as growth stocks can just as easily turn into shrinking stocks if you don't call it right, i think the best thing we can do is use that dividend money or spare cash, and take advantage of the reduced prices when they occur, but each to his own

CSDI, don't think you are getting any special treatment mate, all of mine are getting a kicking, good old Vodafone has saved me from a full sea of red lol, just hold back for a while before making any more top ups, I fear there more to come for several months yet, not sure if anyone agrees ?
