There is nothing in the clinical trials to date to suggest a problem with this drug causing liver toxicity. This is just a regulator being cautious and wanting more data. Well, it is fortunate March is only a few weeks away. Some say GGP has enough cash, but when you have no source of income and have big spending plans it is good practice to stay well capitalised in case something goes awry. If the markets are anticipating some sort of fundraising that may well be a drag on the share price until it is resolved. Some interest from a major or fundraising at a premium would do wonders for the share price here.

You are assuming any funding will be at a discount. If they bring a partner on board or have a pool of investors who see potential it may be at a premium. Solgold raised capital at a hefty premium early on from Maxit, fundraisings from Newcrest and BHP were at a premium too. Greatland are exploring in an area of ground which is currently highly sought after, close to Telfer and Rio’s not so secret new discovery. Drilling to date has encountered some very grades and grades which would be good enough for bulk mining, its open and high grade at depth and open in nearly every direction. Please Mr Rio or Mr Newcrest let us have £20 million for 10% of Greatland and we will do a bit more digging..

Depth does matter, i am not saying it doesn’t. The only point I was trying to make is that this was never going to be an open pit mine, from the previous drill results the mineralisation would is too deep. I don’t think the depth of the mineralisation here rules it out being a viable mine, Telfer operates close by as a viable underground mine. But the stuff has to be there at the right grade in sufficient quantity.

The depth is not an issue, this was never going to be an open cast mine. Telfer is now an underground mine so it could be viable in that location. It depends on the grades, the geology and how much mineralisation there is. Shallow open pit is cheapest to develop, but deep is not always a problem. If the grades increase at depth and there is a high grade core that could actually favour a deep block cave mine as the highest grade material would be mined first.

I’m expecting more than one RNS. Drill results are pending but I’m also expecting some tie up or funding package for more drilling plus details of future drilling plans. Things have been quiet, but i’m expecting a lot going on in the background. When Solgold announced funding plans and the buy in with Newmont it sent the share price sharply higher. Be careful which spike you sell out on because when these things move, they move quickly and you can’t always get back in!!

Solgold hit a market cap of £666 million the other year and that was for an 85% owned (balance to Cornerstone Resources) potential tier one copper gold orebody in a high risk jurisdiction. If Primorus are right... sp may well end up many multiples of where this is now. Need to see the results of those assays...

Will there be a sell off on the news.... what is interesting here is that volume is rising along with price so I dont think the price will fall on the news. If it carries on like this the company will need to make an announcement. Someone knows something to be accumulating like this.

Will be interesting to see where this goes when it breaks out. If results are good, due a rerate. 3.5p plus? But a major discovery in Australia has got to see this at £200m to £300 million market cap easy. Remember Diamond Fields discovery in Canada. So i say 5p plus on very good results...

Never mind the Nikkei, look at oil, really being hammered. If the stockmarkets fall much further this could turn into an avalanche. Fortunate were in gold, precious metals are the only thing rising. Fantastic time to release drill results.

That’s not impossible. If it turns out to be a tier 1 discovery like Telfer. 3 to 5% of resource as a takeover price.... But without more drill results we don’t know what GGP are sat on. This be the best performing share on Aim in 2019.

They are a good hedge against each other, copper tends to do well when the economy is booming, gold does when when things turn bad. Mather at Solgold said the gold miners like Newcrest look at the copper as paying to mine the gold, and the majors look at it the other way round. But if you look into the detail of the Rns there were high grades of other valuable metals too. It will be interesting to see the latest drill results.
