Rather the question will be, do you want convenience or safety (as Semicast would put it).
Even when you're talking about basic DMS, it comes down to availability. SEYE cannot get close to 100% availability as SEE does unless it uses more than one camera, as per its demonstration at CES.
Likewise Super Cruise, for anyone to believe SEYE may somehow be in some models would mean SEYE unannounced, which is so un SEYE like, had made, for it, a massive step forward due to its very modest R&D spend and lack of real time data, purely relying on a grand sounding AI set up.
Simply put, anything that is remotely Level 2 and above, needs SEE. Even in China, but due to its latitude, SEYE and other convenience providers will be used. Keep your eye on Tesla type crashes in China......
